I cannot express how pleasant my experience was with this urgent care. Joe, office manager, jumped in and helped get me checked in, Gianna was fantastic with my triage and specimen collection and Dr. Downs has impeccable bedside manner. This office was exceptional! Keep up the good work and teamwork.

I have all the praise for this new clinic. Took both my kids for school physical. It was nice, clean and tidy place. The staff were very courteous and the service swift. Dr. Humberto is a huge asset to Greenbrier community.

I had a great experience with this urgent care when I needed treatment for a herniated disc. There was no wait time to be seen and the staff was incredibly kind. The office is clean and updated. My pharmacy had an issue receiving prescriptions and the nurse practitioner personally called to resolve the issue so I could get my medications in a timely fashion. They went above and beyond to make sure I was adequately taken care of. I will definitely come back if I need urgent care in the future.

I had a fantastic experience at Acorn urgent care. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and incredibly efficient. The wait time was minimal, and I was seen by someone within 5 minutes, which is rare for most urgent care centers. The facility was clean, well-organized, and adhered to strict hygiene protocols, which made me feel safe and comfortable.The lady there was compassionate and took the time to help me understand the process before doing anything. She explained everything in simple terms and made sure I left with a clear understanding.What impressed me the most was their ability to provide high-quality care quickly, without making the experience feel rushed. First visit today and this place is truly 5 stars. I went in for 2 issues (one required xrays) and I was out in about 1.5 hours. The entire staff (reception, nurse, xray and doctor) were AMAZING! The doctor (who took time to get to know me) actually listened and cared enough about a severe problem to ask me to let her know if her treatment was working. Not a charge. I changed my PCP to Acorn before I left.

First time here. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The office was very clean. They performed my sons sports physical and made us feel comfortable. This will be our new urgent care from now on.

Been to Acorn Care twice now and both such great experiences. They are always so quick, efficient and pleasant. The doctor even develops a rapport with you and has remembered me after just my first visit. If I have to be seen this is the urgent care I go to.

I saw Nurse Practitioner Dawnisha Parnell for stitches removal. She was gentle, patient, reassuring, & professional. The entire staff was respectful and kind.

I highly recommend this place! After already going to another urgent care and not getting the care I needed, I was recommended this place by a friend. They fit me right in! The doctor was very thorough in figuring out what was wrong rather than just getting me out the door. He was very kind, listened to the issues, and asked questions to better understand. The entire staff was so friendly and sweet. I absolutely plan to make this my go to when needed.

I came for a drug testing and they were so quick and easy! I was able to get in right away and the clinician was very helpful and kind.

I recently visited Acorn Care Primary and Urgent for a drug screening and physical as part of the process for a new job. The experience was outstanding from start to finish. I highly recommend Acorn Care for anyone needing similar services—they truly made what could have been a stressful experience a breeze!

Went here for a physical. I should’ve known something was not ok when they didn’t take any contact or insurance info. Get there early and it was a mess. One lady at the front desk was very helpful. The others, not so much. I had to call my insurance to see if they were in network when it was brought to my attention that they may not be. I’ve had this appointment at least a week in advance and my fault for not seeing the red flags of them not taking insurance info much less contact info. No services rendered, just a complete waste of time.

In time of urgent care need, we have found Acorn Care to be the best option. Professional, helpful & attentive staff who truly take care during the visit and provide good instructions for after care. And more importantly, minimal wait time and clean facility. They do offer wide area of services in addition to urgent care.

Very quick check-in process, with very swift testing for D.O.T . They tested Vision, hearing, and Urinalysis and a visit with the Doc probably would say was in and out within 30-35 minutes 10/10 would recommend !

Everyone was super kind and friendly. Came in early on a Wednesday morning for a tooth infection and was in and out. Glad I found this place! My new go to for any medical issues!

Very disappointed in this place. Handicapped accessibility is poor for a medical facility. Plenty of HC parking spaces, but no slanted curbs for wheelchairs, walkers and rollators. And NO wheelchairs available inside for us disabled people. No excuse for this at a medical facility!!

Amazing Urgent Care center. Walked in near closing one night and they still saw me and had me out the door with a prescription sent before the actual closing time.

I went to my regular doctors walk in clinic and was told there was a 3 hour wait so I went to patient first to find 17 people ahead of me. Not wanting to give up I decided to try Acorn Care and it was amazing. No wait, great staff, and fantastic doctor.

Excellent customer service with minimal wait time. I am not one to write reviews often, but Acorn Care is a refreshing urgent care service needed in Chesapeake. Their team went the extra mile and ensured my chest X-ray and Flu/Covid test were conducted quickly without having to wait too long for results. I was provided a nebulizer treatment on site to help my lungs. Their medical phone application was easy to use, and my results were posted quickly as well as a doctor’s note for work. All the staff were polite and caring. If you want great urgent care without the wait times, I highly recommend Acorn Care.

I went there Friday morning because I had a rash on my chest, knowing it was most likely shingles. The nurse practitioner assured me. It wasn’t even though I was in so much pain and had all the classic signs. She told me it was a fungal infection. I had to go to the emergency room Sunday morning because the pain was unbearable turned out it was indeed shingles. Not a good experience at all, and will never be back!

I have gone to this place a couple of times and have always been told as long as I am there before closing I will be seen. I had to wait until my husband got home from work today and got to Acorn at 5:30pm and they close at 6:00pm. The front desk asked what I was there for (sick) and then she said she would ask the doctor if he would see me. She came back almost immediately and said the doctor would not see me so I had to go to Patient First. Very unprofessional.
