I had a horrible experience with Dr. Perez at my consultation. He did not answer any of my questions and made me feel like I had no hope without him. I did not want to return but felt like I didn’t have an option because my OB recommended them. I asked the office 3 times for out of pocket costs for services before having them completed and specifically asked for without insurance coverage. I was given 2 different answers. Then, the bill came in at over twice the highest of the estimates. As a healthcare provider myself, the bedside manner and billing department is unacceptable. I discontinued service and transferred all of my care to VCU even though it means a 3 hour drive each way. I am so glad I have different doctors now.The only reason they get 2 stars is because the nurse I saw at the second visit was very friendly and informative. Overall, I would not recommend and I think they are only in business because desperate families think they have nowhere else to turn. Do yourself a favor and do not go here.

I had a wonderful and successful experience with Procreate! All staff were so supportive, genuine, and empathetic. I was never left in the dark or confused, and every test result was provided asap - even on weekends. Highly recommend!

Procreate honestly changed my life, and I will forever be grateful for everyone there. After having a miscarriage and struggling to get pregnant again, we were referred to Procreate. From day one I felt like I was in great hands with a team that actually cared. I am now 11 weeks pregnant and “graduated” to my OB but I can’t praise the ladies at Procreate enough, especially Stacey, Crystal and Kim. They made me feel so cared for, answered all my questions, and truly held my hand every step of the way. When I had concerns, they offered reassurance, and truly wanted what’s best for me. They have been such key people in my journey and I so grateful for their help! Corrine at the front desk was also always amazing and greeted me with a smile and always asked how I was. I can not recommend the team at Procreate enough. They are true professionals who are passionate about what they do!

Everyone from the clinical staff to administrative staff has been so helpful and informative. My husband and I had been trying for years going to clinic after clinic with no success. We finally found Procreate and couldn’t have been happier. Dr. Bocca, Kristen and all the other staff are just wonderful!!! They always listen to me and answer all my questions and concerns. I always felt like they actually cared and that is the most important thing. If you’re looking for a place that makes you feel like family and that you can trust your care and money with….this is the place!!!!

I absolutely loved my experience at Procreate. Everyone was kind, understanding, and made me feel heard. In particular I saw Katherine Duey and Dr Bocca most often and they both always made me feel supported, were open to questions, and gave me hope throughout a process that anyone who has been through infertility knows is not always easy. I would recommend them to anyone. They explained test results and processes clearly, were always clear regarding finances, and overall operated with transparency and honesty. Fertility treatment is expensive but their costs are on par with other clinics in the area and they helped educate us about programs that helped us get discounts on the cost of medications. I am so grateful to every single person at this office. My husband and I were happy with every single visit and felt supported through every step of this process.

Procreate helped us get pregnant, and were very attentive and supportive the entire time. Cannot thank them enough for the ability to become parents.

Kierra is on top of her game, she is very quick to respond if I have any question, also is always informative & professional yet friendly. Dr Bocca is wonderful too! She never makes me feel rushed when talking to her and is sure that I have any questions answered. I look forward to future appointments!

I had a wonderful experience at Procreate. Megan and Jeanette were so kind and welcoming at every visit. I primarily saw Mary Jo for all of my follow up visits. She is truly the best. She was so present during every visit, answered all questions, and always responded to messages quickly with labs results, recommendations for meds, etc. I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone at the VB location.

Procreate was able to get me in the correct medicine and just recently have my first baby after being diagnosed with infertility. All of the staff I encountered were extremely knowledgeable and kind, especially during the hard times. I did have some billing issues that took a while to get resolved but eventually they were handled appropriately. I am forever grateful to Procreate for helping me get pregnant and have a happy healthy baby boy!

I am writing this review to share my experience with the Procreate Fertility Clinic, Chesapeake location.Over the past months I was seen by Dr. Silvina Bocca and WhNP Stacey Seeley to address couple issues. Not only that they provide an excellent care but they took the time to explain and provide help with all my concerns. Every one, from front office staff and others like Stephanie, make sure you are comfortable and ready to help. I will add it was convenient to have the first appointment on video call and that the scheduling is extremely fast and flexible.

I am a new Pt with Procreate. I came to visit the Newport News location very quickly and when I walked in, Christina front desk greeting was full of light and helpful). The nurse named Kate (she was so polite and used her manners very well- and had a very cozy but bubbly personality) helped answer a few of my other questions that were personal ( she made it personable was caring, and made me feel beyond comfortable). Well educated and knowledgeable. I am very happy with the encounter and look forward with care with Procreate Fertility Newport News. I have much faith in the team after meeting just a few. I am now much confident. I can only imagine meeting the Doctors and providers of the team if that is how the clinical team is.

I have had a long journey this year of going to so many providers about having a child. Once you get to the point of seeing a fertility doctor, it can get scary, at least it was for me. I can honestly say from the moment I stepped into the Newport News office, I felt a calm and welcoming spirit among the staff at Procreate. From the front desk staff, medical assistant, doctor, and then the phlebotomist, they were all different variations of comfort. Thank you to everyone who helped my first experience feel like I was in good hands, it’s really hard for women to feel heard and understood while going through physical health and they were all nothing short of informative and kind. I love how small knit they are, it makes it feel like they can focus on you and you’re not lost in a sea of people. Again, thank you!

I would live to give 5 for the wonderful service we got at this clinic but I took away 1 star as some of the staff is not very attentive. Dr. Bocca is amazing. Always listens and pays attention to all details. Supports you in every possible way. Corrine the front desk lady is the Best front desk person I have ever met. Very polite, caring and always there to help the patients. I took one star away as during our journey with this clinic some staff members weren’t responsive and gave incorrect info. The phlebotomist seen on her phone while patients are waiting for blood to be drawn. But I am sure management would take care of this all. Huge shout to the Nurse in their surgery/ OT area, she is the most senior in experience and age but the sweetest and kindest lady. If you are struggling in your TTC this is the place I will highly recommend.

*I’m currently 13 weeks 2 days pregnant!*Thanks to Kristin and the staff at procreate im finally pregnant again. I have a living daughter whos 3 and i had a stillborn last april. After the stilborn my body went into menopause (im 25). I completely stopped ovulating, my cycles stopped, follicles stopped growing. Just nothing. Well thanks to kristin and the team at procreate I am expected another little. The team is great. When I tell you i cried after my last visit, i cried! So thankfuk for the great team.

Dr.B and her Sonogram technician at the Newport news office are very good at explaining and answering any questions! they have been a blessing to my journey i absolutely love it here and sad to go to my next OB, but now that i was able to procreate i am off to my new journey. The nurse Katie (i believe i apologize if wrong) along with the phlebotomist are the sweetest healthcare workers ever they are very kind and make you feel very comfortable. highly recommend them

Kierra and everyone I worked with through procreate was absolutely amazing! Kierra is very knowledgeable and was always available for any questions I had.

I went to the Virginia Beach location, from the second I set foot in the building the staff, nurses and doc were informative, caring and went above and beyond. I was very nervous, but their kindness and understanding made it all a lot easier. They have been able to work with Tricare in the past so that is also a big help. Highly recommend.

I started my fertility journey working with an amazing team at Procreate. In August 2023, I began working with Kierra Blount, Third Party Coordinator, who understood the challenges I was experiencing. During this time, I had already experienced setbacks and disappointments. Kierra was very welcoming, I immediately felt that she cared about my journey and because of that I instantly connected with her. Kierra explained to me what I was to expect during these stages, which made me have faith with moving further in the process so much easier. I truly cannot explain how her role as a Third Party Coordinator has positively impacted my journey. Procreate as a team has made me feel supported. I look forward to continuing my journey to motherhood with them. You rock, Kierra Blount!!

This facility was recommended by my OB GYN, seemed promising at first but all they did was some tests and thats pretty much it. Had some elevated levels found in my blood work, I asked what needs to be done next but all they did was take more blood samples. No follow up, no advise if you need to be referred to see another specialist, also some test results are unavailable to be viewed on their patient portal.

This was the absolute worst experience my wife and I have ever gone through with a business. On our first call we paid out of pocket for Mr. Perez just up and took a personal call, that should have been our first warning.They left my wife on the table without telling her they were done and left her just deciding to put her clothes on, no updates on test results, or to tell us to stop taking medication. It should be criminal how negligent they are after you spent tens of thousands of dollars and they just forget to call you for an update. All of the horrible, terrible experiences dont hold a candle to billing. My insurance company refused our claims over and over again because Procreate thinks putting a company name on a spreadsheet with a total is a detailed receipt. It took over a year to finally get some of our money back.I cannot stress how heartless, and terrible this place is. They simply do not care. We are going to Shady grove and after our first IVF cycle are waiting for a pregnency result this week. They call us, handle our insurance, and treat us like humans.I could rant for hours, of all the terrible experiences we had here, but Im at peace knowing we are paying a company that gives a damn about us now. I plead whoever reads this, this place will only take your money, and leave you helpless.Procreate Fertility, I will make sure every person I know who is thinking of going with you knows our personal story.BTW The owner asked me to contact the below number but NO ONE ANSWERS. I called over a dozen times and I always hit a voicemail. This is the experience I expect from Procreate.Also we are 5 months prego thanks to Shady Grove!

Dr. Perez said I cant be seen at the practice anymore. I had to many cancelled appointments. Even thought I told his staff upfront I was in process of getting new insurance that wasnt sure if I would be able to keep the appointment. His staff should of said this might be a problem in the future. I asked if it was okay didnt want to inconvenience Dr. Perez. The girl said it was fine. I get a call saying Dr. Perez says I can never be seen at the practice again. I think he is unprofessional and is working in the wrong business when it comes to fertility. Im already upset with my fertility issues and to be told I can never be seen again. Makes me lose more hope on having kids. Just like a man to try to control woman when it comes to whether we can have kids or not. I will be reporting him to the medical board. I will tell everyone I know to never go to him.

Honestly, I cant thank everyone at Procreate Fertility Center enough! I struggled for a year before going to Procreate and within a week of my first visit, Dr. Perez had a plan together and explained everything in a way that was easily understandable. Katherine and Dr. Zaret were amazing! They made my husband and I feel so comfortable, answered every question we had, and you could truly tell how much they cared. All the nurses and the lab techs were great, also. They are excited for me and made me feel like family when I was there. Kayla and Jessica at the front desk are so nice and helpful too! Overall, our experience with Procreate was great. They made a scary time in our life a lot less scary and now Im 10 weeks pregnant and couldnt be happier. Highly recommended!!

We have a beautiful baby boy thanks to the caring, professional, loving care from everyone at Procreate. I cant say enough about the staff at Newport News and Chesapeake.My wife and I did IVF cycles & didnt always get the news we hoped for, but were always treated with respect and sincere care.I cant recommend Procreate enough.LGBT+ friendly 🌈

Rating this a 2 because of my disappointment during my first appointment with them. I was scheduled to have an e-visit at 2:50 pm 3/12/2024. 2:50 came in 3 but I havent received any email or call so I called them. The front desk answered and said that I needed to pay the amount of $176 first before they got the service. I was shocked by the statement and also by the price. First of all, I didnt receive any notification or email asking for payment so I did not know what was going on. Ive been worried about my menstrual irregularity and dont want to miss the appointment so I paid them immediately and gave them what they needed. After paying, PA Shelly sent a video call link to my email. Now it gets worse. It was an hour of patient education with her non-stop talking and reading to her sheet. She didnt even ask me questions about what I was more concerned with. She just talks and talks. I needed to interrupt her in order to ask questions but then she just answered quickly then proceeded to what her cheat sheet says. She talks super fast and just wants to finish her dialogue. I was more disappointed because I already knew what she was discussing. She talked about supplements that I have already taken that didnt work for me, does she not know that people dealing with symptoms of PCOS have already done research? I am seeking help for immediate steps and actions to correct the irregularities because I am worried so much. I thought I was going to talk to a physician for that scheduled appointment. That whole hour is an easy $176 for them. If needed, I could have just honestly watched an hour-long video on YouTube that talks about PCOS or read a bunch of RCT articles.

Procreate allowed my husband and I dreams to come true. We now have a Beautiful little girl with the help of procreate. The staff is wonderful my special love to Kat the physician assistant. Mrs. Kat checked on us to we was comfortable and wonderful the procedure went well.I know we had 1,000,001 questions, however she was there every step of the way. We do consider them as part of our family. I want to give them the biggest Thanks in the world. Without procreate help we would not have our daughter.

Its been almost two years since I had my son and this would have not been possible without Dr. Perez, Kat and the whole team at Procreate! You all are amazing and I have a beautiful boy because of you all! You gave me hope that this would happen and were there for me when it didnt the first time. But luckily the second time it did and I am forever grateful for you all. This place and team are the best and would and continue to recommend them to anyone who is struggling with infertility. Thank you all for being amazing!!

We have had 2 miscarriages in the past year and were told by my OBGYN that no workup would be done until I’ve had 3. We were very upset to hear this as we are willing to do and pay anything to try and not have to go through another one before getting help. We found procreate and are so glad we did. From the first consultation to my most recent procedure, I have met Dr. Bocca, Mary Jo, and Kat along with all of the front desk staff, nurses, and medical assistants. They have been such a blessing to us and we are very lucky to be under their care. We are still waiting for our first healthy baby but I have full confidence in this team to help us get there, and I recommend them to anyone going through infertility or recurrent miscarriages.

I am writing this so other women don’t get traumatized like me.This is a long review with my personal experience but if you want to learn how bad this clinic is feel free to check their CDC and SAT IVF success rates (see photos and link below) Their statistics are so so so bad that it is suprising that they are still open. Their success rate is less than 20%.Important:national average is 50%Shady Grove Fertility is almost 70% and Shady Grove is not even the best clinic in VA, so that should explain how low is LESS THAN 20% success rate isThere were a lot of red flags but this one was the one that opened my eyes to this scam clinic.2 days before my egg retrieval they recommended that while they are doing my egg retrieval, they should clean the polyps on my uterine wall so it doesn’t prevent the embryo from implanting. I agreed, signed papers accepting this procedure and paid around 1.000$ for it.2 days later I went to my egg retrieval (which they kept me in for 3-4 hours, I will come back to this later). 1-2 days after my egg retrieval I went back to the clinic for a check-up and was suprised that nobody mentioned the cleaning of the polyps. I asked the nurse and said “How did cleaning of the polyps go” and the Nurse responded “Looks like it went pretty good”Something did not feel right, so next day I called them and asked them about the surgey and they said “we did not clean the polyps, we will have to put you under anesthesia again and do it before your transfer”I was devasted and shocked. I couldn’t believe what a big mistake this was. Later that day Dr Bocca called me to explain me that there was a miscommunation and they “forgot” to do my operation.After this huge mistake and “forgetting” to the surgery I decided that I would never let these people touch me. If a clinic can “forget” to do a surgery think what else they can “forget”.After this incident, I had to call the clinic 3-4 times to be able to my money back.2 weeks later they sent me another bill trying to charge me for this surgery AGAIB because the billing department thought that I already had this surgery. So did I or not? What a terrible organization.Red flag 2:I just had another egg retrieval with one of the best clinics in USA (cheaper mind you!), and my egg retrival, from being wheeling to the operation room to getting the eggs successfully and then waking up took 30 minutes. During my egg retriaval with Procreate why was in there for 4 hours? My husband was so worried and nobody answered him properly while he was waiting in there. So what happened?Red flag 3:One of the head nurses, while she was doing my ultrasounds gave me false hope and told me “you are so lucky, you are going to have so many embryos, and just feel grateful” after I told her I was feeling very uncomfortable (I was feeling very uncomfortable because they retrieved 29 eggs from me). What a “comforting” nurse.Guess how many embryos I had at the end of day 6? One (1) and it came back abnormal from PGTA. I was devasted. The first thing the clinic tried to do to comfort me was to recommend me ANOTHER egg retrieval with the exact same protocol. Yeah right.Other red flags: they put all women on birth control to sync their cycles and make it easier for the clinic (not good outcomes for IVF!)They do the egg retrievals on the same day with all women, egg retrival rooms are just chairs divided my curtains and you have to listen to other women moaning and crying while waking up from anesthesia.Waiting times during stims is terrible. One day I had wait an hour for my appointment.They put you on wrong medications, vitamins,They gave me DHEA which is not good for women with PCOS! Affects IVF outcomes in a bad way.Another red flag was that they kept my 1 abnormal frozen for a year and they sent me a bill for storage fees!! I cant say enough about this place! The whole staff Kat, Stacey, Mary Jo, Dr Perez, Dr Bocca, Sarmira, the nursing staff and front desk staff are wonderful! I am 8 weeks pregnant thanks to procreate! They have been so great throughout the whole process, every time I have a concern they get me right in and truly care. Scheduling/ and ivf plan was laid out simple and easy. I get to hear my babys heartbeat and get pictures every week. I cant thank them enough for all the support and helping my husband and I having our little baby!Update: our baby boy was born 8lbs 21 inches and healthy…he is 6 weeks today.

Dr Bocca is awesome. I followed her here from Jones, but the staff is horrible! They are so unresponsive and unorganized. I hate to say it but it seems that some are just lazy! It’s so tragic. The office has sooo much to offer, it’s just hard getting things done and responses. They just do what they want when they feel like it, it seems. No one EVER answers the phone and everyone just tries to pass of things to someone else who also appears clueless or doesn’t respond. If it weren’t for Dr Bocca, I would never be back.

I have personally been to Procreate Fertility and have nothing but good things to say! The staff are genuinely happy and are willing to go above and beyond to help you succeed. Dr. Perez and Kat made me feel confident that I can have a child , They helped me conceive my now 2 month old and they made the experience that I thought would be stressful, so special and memorable! I love everything about this facility and plan on coming back when I’m ready for another bundle of joy ! Thank you Procreate !

Super bad experience. Ive been in the process of getting an IUI since February. The months passed, everything was excellent until today, when I was already on my second cycle, my ovules last week were 12.8 in size, I arrived today with the hope that I was ready for insemination, but it was not like that, my ovulation had already passed, so what They are professionals if they have not even come to give me an insemination, just pay and pay. Sometimes they do not see the sacrifice and dedication that one makes to do things, they only see the patient as a $ sign. The treatment is excellent but they should put themselves in your shoes and be more aware, no.

My regular doctor referred me and my husband to Dr. Perez and his team after we had been trying for over a year to get pregnant, and I couldn’t have imagined how amazing the experience would be. The entire team at Procreate Fertility is so welcoming and supportive; you really feel like the doctors and nurses have just as much invested into things as you do. Infertility is such a difficult road, but Procreate Fertility will provide you will all the tools to be be your best self as you go through treatments. I am so thankful to be a patient of Procreate Fertility, and couldn’t have imagined taking this journey any other way. I hope that all couples who deal with infertility have as positive of an experience as my husband and I have had, and I highly recommend to Procreate to anyone in the Hampton Roads area who has been having challenges starting a family.

There are no words to articulate how wonderful this practice is. From my initial telehealth e-visit to when I walked in the door for the first time and was greeted until my very last visit with the professionals at Procreate I felt cared for, invested in and I was listened to. Dr. Perez has created a beautiful caring culture for an extremely delicate life obstacle. I know the financial aspect of infertility treatments is DAUNTING, but the staff makes it manageable.

I am beyond grateful that I found Procreate. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for the entire staff. We are currently expecting out first child after 4 years of struggling with infertility. We wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Dr. Perez and his team. They went above and beyond for us during a very difficult IVF cycle. I felt truly cared about throughout the entire process. I loved getting to know the staff, and shed tears when it was time to say goodbye. Thank you for everything Team Procreate. You all are truly amazing.

Dr. Perez, Kat, and the entire team at Procreate Fertility are incredible! We never felt like just a number while being treated there. Infertility is an incredibly difficult journey, and everyone was so understanding and supportive throughout our treatment. My questions were always answered promptly and professionally. Every single staff member at Procreate is professional, kind, and genuine. I highly recommend Procreate Fertility Center of VA. I initially went to a different facility for a year and a half. Then, my OB/GYN recommended that I see Dr. Perez for help in getting pregnant via IVF. I got pregnant on the first try and had a beautiful baby boy! I feel truly grateful for Dr. Perez, Dr. Zaret, Nurse Katherine and the entire Procreate Staff. Not only did they provide outstanding service, they were caring, kind and supportive every step of the way. Although the process wasnt easy, my experience at Procreate was truly a positive one from my initial consultation to my last visit for an ultrasound. When I was diagnosed with ovarian failure at 42, I thought I would never get pregnant and carry a baby. I feel that it was Godsend that brought me to the Procreate family, and Im so thankful for them and their services.

Procreate Fertility Center is compassionate, professional and most importantly knowledgeable. Dr. Perez and Katherine are the best! They avail themselves to their patients and are willing to create individualized protocols. I have never felt rushed or dismissed by my questions. Infertility is a very sensitive and personal matter, the entire Procreate team understands that and they listen to their patients.

I can not begin in words to describe the debt of gratitude I owe to this fertility center. I have actually been a patient of Dr. Perez for over 6 years. Even after we lost contact for years after my first specialized surgery performed by him, he remembered me by name and case when I came in contact again.The love, support and positive attitude of the collective staff is unmatched. These are true professionals that create personalized plans of action for their patients. I am beyond excited that I took a leap of faith with this group. I recommend their services for anyone experiencing infertility. You will not regret a consultation.

Don’t judge a place by bad reviews. I almost did. But I’m so happy I just gave them a chance. After previous losses I went into this year thinking it was gonna be hard and didn’t wanna try at all. I was referred to Procreate. I can’t even begin to express the gratitude I have for this practice. A complete work up and a minor procedure to figure out what was wrong. And they figured it all out. All with very attentive nurses, doctors and staff. I felt cared for. We did a cycle of med and timed and it worked! I’m pregnant. And I’ve graduated to my regular OB. I’ve seen Mary Jo, kat, dr. Pruiz, Stacy. Each and everyone of them listened to me, portal messages that seems silly to me they still messaged me back. Even when I’d message on a Saturday. They were very responsive and knew that I was uneasy after testing and they’d message me just to let me know that everything was still good. Without me even having to ask them or message them first. Speaking of its Saturday as I write this and Kat messaged me in regards to results on Fridays bloodwork. I can’t recommend them enough. I’m super grateful.

I would really love to come back to this review and be able to change my rating. But as of today, this is what it is. Infertility is a very heartbreaking experience, and so far this office is making it worse. I had and I&D procedure completed in December which I paid out of pocket for. Completely understandable as insurance may not cover the procedure. However, I got my EOB and found that my insurance actually covered most of it. When I received my copy, I messaged the office late December and asked if I would be getting refunded. I was told that yes I would, after they got the check. I waited 3 months, called again and was told it would be 3-4 weeks. That was 2 months ago that I was told that and a total of 5 months I have been waiting for over $2,000 to be refunded. Also, I am trying to start the IUI procedure and I have asked for an explanation of this procedure and how often Ill need to come into the office. I was told Clinical will usually give you that information at the start of your IUI cycle Do I need medications? How many visits will this be? No clue -apparently I will need to wait to start this procedure to find out. I understand offices are busy and these explanations may seem elementary to them, but this is my first time going through this and Im lost and feel like they are basically giving me the middle finger. I recently found out I had an abnormal pap and needed a biopsy right before I was supposed to start IUI and I called Procreate in a panic wondering if this was going to interfere with starting and left a voicemail April 5 for a nurse. No one ever called me back. I have maybe given one other bad google review in my life but I have given so much time and money for this and feel completely ignored.

Dr. Perez and his staff have been so patient with me through my whole process of trying to conceive. Even through my numerous apprehensions they educated me every step of the way and allowed me to take the time and process each step before moving forward. That was very important to me as a person that does not make decisions without thoroughly thinking things through. The one thing that I appreciate about Dr. Perez is his passion for what he does and his desire to want to do all that he can to help you achieve the goal of becoming pregnant. He was always reminding me to “enjoy the journey.” I would definitely recommend Procreate Fertility Center to anyone that is trying to conceive. Its taken me a long time to write this review because I wanted to find the right words to explain just how incredible Procreate Fertility is. Dr. Perez, Kat, and the entire team are the best professionals in their field. The entire office goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable in one of the most stressful and uncomfortable times for most couples. They are thorough and will do whatever it takes to get the answers you need and help you meet your end goal of being blessed with a healthy baby, all while respecting (and working with you to manage) the financial stressors that come with the process. Dealing with infertility is something I would guess most women fear and would never wish on anyone. However, Dr. Perez and Kat take something that so many people fear and make it as easy as possible. Its the strangest thing to go from crying about not wanting to have to take that step to crying because you dont want to leave this amazing team of medical professionals. We cant say enough about the practice and how much I wish they could have been my regular practice throughout my pregnancy. I trusted them completely and as I wait for our first born to arrive (of course she is 5 days late so far!) I couldnt be more thankful that her life started with their help.

Went in to have a work up done for PCOS and infertility to hopefully get started on some medication or timeline ASAP. They did loads of bloodwork and an ultrasound, told me they would follow up. Never heard back. I contacted them twice through the patient portal (which they strongly encouraged) and still nothing. Went to another doctor who confirmed the labs were not needed and got me started on a medication which worked the first round. Staff was friendly, but definitely not a great experience.

Procreate helped my dream of having a baby come true! The team are so professional but also make you feel so cared about and everyone there knows you! They are the best medical practice i have ever experienced i wish all doctors were like this. Kat and Dr Perez are the best!

Kat and Dr. Perez have both been absolutely amazing! We came to the clinic trying to conceive on our own, and they were so patient and gracious with us to allow us to take our time as we walked through each procedure. Finally after our 2nd IUI we got pregnant with our first baby! We owe so much appreciation to Procreate Fertility, and are so sad to leave their clinic.

Words cannot express how thankful I am that I found Procreate Fertility. From the moment I walked into the office, I have felt nothing but warmth, kindness, and an immense understanding of the world of fertility. I feel as though my worries and issues have always been heard and addressed with knowledge and compassion. I have been walked through every step of our process and have enjoyed every visit I have had. This clinic and the people in it have given me hope and tears of happiness. So confused by some of these reviews. I had set standards hoping this process would be smooth (even if not successful) and was completely disappointed. I’ve been through IUI in another state so I knew what to expect unfortunately this clinic was just organized chaos. Frequently told different prices, paid out of pocket for everything, didn’t really feel heard, Dr’s didn’t seem like they reviewed your record before coming in for your session (try to stick with 1 dr), had follow up instructions written on a napkin!!! It ALL just made the process very stressful, like most women aren’t already on edge. Staff was alway friendly. Locations are clean and inviting. Very accommodating schedule wise. Follow up can be iffy depending on who you talk too. Unfortunately, the Hampton roads area seems to have a limited selection of facilities & services for women’s fertility. I pray women find success here regardless of it all but I gave up after our second try and may even move out of state to find the right fit. Because of my experience with them I spent to many nights thinking “well maybe if they would have done this” , “if they would’ve listen when I said that”, “I just wasted over $4k and I just want this to be over with already”, etc.

I’ve been hesitating to write this because I do not have nearly enough words to express my gratitude to the Procreate staff! How do I thank them enough for helping me create the love of my life?!I am a registered nurse myself and throughout my 9 years in the medical field, I have never seen such compassion and kindness as these providers give their patients. It is obvious that they love what they do. My concerns were always addressed and I never felt rushed when in the presence of the providers.A little bit about my journey:I reached out to Procreate a few months after I lost an ovary in 2019 to an ovarian cyst. The OBGYN who did my surgery said that even with the loss of an ovary and my PCOS, I wouldn’t have any trouble conceiving. After 2 failed IUIs and a miscarriage I reached out to Procreate for a consultation and to get more information on their Invocell procedure (less expensive than traditional IVF). Dr. Perez confirmed that with my medical history and recent loss of an ovary, my gut feeling was correct; I was going to have a hard time conceiving. Also with my medical history that traditional IVF would give me the greatest chance of success versus the Invocell. Dr. Perez never pressured me into the traditional IVF procedure and said that he would do the Invocell if I chose to do so; he would support my decision. I chose the traditional IVF because I wanted the best success rate. Again, Procreate is absolutely amazing, it meant a lot with them letting me guide how my treatment would go. I successfully convinced on my first transfer and was sadden to go once I was 13 weeks and “graduated” to a regular a OBGYN; I wish I could have stayed at Procreate my whole pregnancy.I had a somewhat difficult pregnancy once I left Procreate. The care given was frustrating, especially when I developed preeclampsia. I ended having to deliver at 35 weeks and I am happy to report that my son is thriving and doing amazing.Thank so much Dr. Perez, Dr. Zaret, Nurse practitioner Kat, and all the other amazing staff at Procreate. You’re truly amazing!I can’t wait to bring my beautiful boy by for you all to meet him!

Words can’t express how knowledgeable this facility is. I’ve been going to Procreate for about a year. I first met Dr. Perez in December 2018. Dr. Perez expalined everything thoroughly... he even drew diagrams to help visualize what he was saying. I’m so happy to say that after a few consultations, lab tests, ultrasounds, etc.… I’m now expecting a baby boy in July 2019! I cannot form the words to express my gratitude for what Katherine and Christian have done for my husband and me. I thank everyone at the facility for being so kind and pleasant to work with. I want to extend my deepest thanks to Dr. Perez for allowing me to experience motherhood. You are a blessing!

I have been going to the clinic for a few months now! The front desk staff and the Nurse Practitioner Kat has been nothing short of amazing! Kat is kind, compassionate, loving and one of the most patient physicians I have been too. She creates personal and professional relationships. Kat also goes into detail about every step, doesnt make you feel rushed and is just overall great hands to be in!

My wife and I first contacted Procreate in June of 2021. After our initial workup they said they would be able to get us into the March 2022 cycle. This was way more time than we wanted to wait, but with COVID delays and all we decided it would be worth it. How wrong we were.Late last year we got the happy news that wed been bumped up to the January cycle! When January rolled around, however, no one seemed to know anything about that and, by the way, the earliest they could start us was May. Lovely. So we bit the bullet one more time, got them to promise we were good for May. My wife started birth control in March and everything was lined up to go. Until today.Today we received an updated cost sheet. Procreate, it seems, has recently entered into a contract with a 3rd party, IVF of Virginia, who is handling the bulk of their lab procedures. Before, we were told our costs for the cycle were about $3,000, all of which would go through my insurance. Now, with their shiny new arrangement, we would owe Procreate $2,000 on our first visit and $12,000 to IVF of Virginia who - wait for it! - isnt contracted with *any* insurers.I do not know what is happening at this place but I urge you to stay away. Yes, some of the staff are lovely people. As a practice, however, they are unpredictable, unreliable, and play fast and loose with their patients pocketbooks. We are literally in tears with frustration and sadness at having the rug pulled out from under us this close to starting a new chapter. Shame on Procreate for this.

Procreate Fertility has been nothing but amazing. The entire staff is so caring and understanding of your issues and puts you at ease in knowing that you will get that family you desire. I’m so happy my OBGYN recommended Dr. Perez and his entire team

After being notified that the clinic where we originally had our embryos preserved will not continue storing them unless you’re ready to use them and schedule your cycle to begin, my husband and I decided to give them a try.We scheduled our initial consultation yesterday ($225 since they don’t accept Tricare).Today they send a text notifying me that my husband will not be able to attend any in person appts except for two, the embryo transfer appt and the final ultrasound.Not the first ultrasound.Not the informational sessions.Nothing.If this was for a cold or something, understandable.But to deny women who are battling fertility issues the comfort of their partner through this process?No. I called today to cancel our appt.Can you imagine receiving bad news in the form of a diagnosis/outcome of the process and you’re alone?If you’re okay with being forced to leave your spouse out of this process, you may give them a try.But as for me, I’m not working with an office who doesn’t see my other half as a part of our whole process. I’m not working with people who force women to endure this process alone.

So disappointed in my experience overall with this clinic. Stacey, the NP, was great but there were multiple times I tried to communicate via the patient message portal (the recommended form of communication) and my messages weren’t answered. On one occasion I had an HSG scheduled but, after reading more information, I felt like I should reschedule in case I was pregnant. I reached out to the staff 3 different times (once by calling, the other two messages on the patient portal) and never heard back until the night before. When I arrived at the appointment, they sent me home because the timing was indeed off. Literally wasted an entire day, and my husband and I both took off of work, because they didn’t respond to my message in a timely manner. The poor communication was reinforced by receiving phone calls from the office but no one ever leaving a voicemail. So I’d have to call back and figure out who called me and why.Even with all of this, we wanted to move forward with IVF. We had a question about the financial portion and, once again, used the patient portal to ask questions. We never had our questions answered. If I can’t trust an office to communicate basic information/answer questions in a timely manner, why would I invest thousands of dollars and expect them to care well for me? I rescheduled with another clinic.

It is literally the most neglectful and dismissive medical practice I have ever dealt with. Watched my sister routinely be lied to, ignored, and forgotten after putting 10s of thousands of dollars into this as well as her heart and soul. She was told she had double the embryos she actually had (there was no apology, just a half-hearted oop!), she was told she would recieve follow up calls that she never received. She was asked to come in for a blood test - they knew she lived an hour away - and they didnt have the test there - a scheduled appointment. She was not given proper education, there was no sensitivity towards her, and she couldnt get follow-ups for time-sensitive questions. They dont respect HIPAA, they do not have an ounce of professionalism, and with all of the mistakes that they made and errors- she cant even be confident that she recieved proper care or her eggs did. It is absolutely shameful and appalling

I am finally sitting down to review my favorite doctor - Dr. Christian Perez! He is really the best! He operated on me in the end of Sept 2018, and even though the surgery was very long and complex - he did a marvelous job! The scar is so small and unnoticeable. Dr. Perez is a true professional, with decades of experience as Obgyn, fertility specialist and a surgeon. A good man! Pleasant personality.Also, nurse practitioner Kat Duey is a true blessing as well. Very knowledgeable and professional, and at the same time such a compassionate kind woman!The staff at Procreate office is nice and friendly. We are thankful to the billing specialist Fransheska who is the real professional in the field and was very helpful.

I would like to thank the whole Staff at Procreate Fertility. Dr. Perez and Kat have been amazing. This has been a long Journey for me and,my Wife. We are Blessed with Two Beautiful Twins( Fraternal Twins) . We dont know the sex of the Babies yet. But, that will soon come.

Procreate Fertility Center of Virginia has given me the best care of my 15 year known journey with PCOS and 6 years trying to conceive. Dr. Perez and Kat Duey, NP are wonderful. There practice is dilligent with their cryopreservation protocols and have been keeping my embryos safe. If youre new to fertility challenges, shop around if you like, but Dr. Perez and Kat are the best! No question is stupid so ask a lot in your consultation and they will answer them. They personalize your treatment with an awesome team of nurses, front office staff, finance department and the embryologist whose name escapes me.Money matters, right? They are upfront with pricing unlike some other practices I had treatment with and offer a patient portal that allows for quick responses from the office, often within hours. They are opening an office in Newport News 2/4/19 Yay!!! with a new physician, who Im sure is clinically sound, and was professional and caring when I was introduced to her at my last appointment.Procreate is a smaller practice where people know who you are. You may wait a while during an appointment from time to time, but its because Kat or Dr. Perez spent time answering another patients question or comforting them. Id rather wait than be rushed when I have a question. They are also very comfortable and familiar with treating LGBTQ families. One of the things most offices dont talk about is treating women with a high BMI. I have a very high BMI and was not made to feel less than in any way. In fact Ive been given strategies to live a healthier lifestyle and confront my PCOS head on.I have a strong support system, but if you dont, Dr. Perez, Kat, the nurses (Kiasia, Kelly and more) and office staff (Kayla and the rest of the bunch) will provide you with the education, encouragement and confidence you need to be successful! I hardly write such lengthy reviews, but its such a great practice and means so much to me, my husband and my parents who came to many of my appointments.

I’ll start by saying I did get pregnant, so the ultimate goal was met. That being said, the entire experience was awful. Zero communication. Different providers each time. Not calling in prescriptions. Nurses giving me the wrong time to take medications, no return call from the after hours line when I questioned the medication time. Telling me I need an ultrasound but then not having any appointments. Kicker was being told by a NP that I just need to relax, how am I supposed to relax when I can’t trust that my provider will give me accurate information.

So far Im going to give this place 2 starts being I am paying out of pocket. My first fertility consult that I was super excited about the doctor had me waiting 30 minutes which I dont mind waiting, but when she finally came on camera she did not apologize for being late. So far I feel as though how I am I supposed to trust this clinic to help me conceive and they cant even say Im sorry for being late. I paid 300 for a virtual consult at that idk so far the experience is not greatOkay update: I had to come back and add this update because I am not happy. I have messaged my doctor about my confer and about taking the birth and its been 2 weeks Ive not heard anything back. Idk whats the purpose of the web portal if nobody responds back. So Im taking my fertility concerns elsewhere. I am cancelling all of my appointments for here on outAnother update I am finally back with this clinic and I now have full fertility benefits. I am supposed to doing iui in the next few weeks but I am having trouble with the communication. I have all my meds for the procedure except the Gonal F pen I keep having to go back and forth and calling to get an update. I sent message on the portal stating that my procedure needs to be approved through a third party otherwise they cant approve the injection. Im not getting any response and I should not have to follow up someone should be calling me.

I am very much torn and have been thinking heavily on this. I found this place online and after having not been successful with my husband we decided to get a consult. When I got there the people were really nice to me and I had no problems. I already knew a lot because I had been working with the military fertility clinic. There time schedule is always off and I am becoming impatient. What I thought was a consult to just find out information turned into a $206.00 initial visit. I was very unhappy with this. Not any place or person within this clinic told me it would cost this much or anything for that matter. I had not planned or budgeted for this. Especially when I was not even sure we were going to use this clinic. The young man was polite and kept apologizing. I am very unhappy, and perhaps naive because I have been in the military since high school and have not had to deal with civilian doctors, but come on. This is outrageous and I am still unhappy. To boot we are not even going to use this clinic. Poor communication and no one seemed to care about my unhappiness. An apology does not cover a 206.00 bill to be told what I already know.

I always read reviews before going to a doctor or anyplace for that matter so i will post my experience so far for anyone looking into this place. I am currently getting treatment for my pcos and infertility here and so far everyone has been very helpful. I will post an update on cost and progress after my first treatment of Letrozole aka Femara. So far consultation for new patients are 330$, ultrasounds are 385$ some packages include ultrasounds and IUI. Everyones treatment will cost different depending on circumstances. Therere different package deals and they will provide financial options if needed. Keep in mind every place is different, I wouldnt go based off of the consultation fee if you are looking for a fertility specialist in Virginia, just because the consultation is cheaper than the other doesnt mean the the treatment will be cheaper. They also will reach out to you and help with your needs they are not like most places where you have to continuously reach out to speak with someone. They have not missed any on my calls and have easy access to your patient portal. You can veiw your lab work, any documents, send messages to your provider, and more on your portal! I highly recommend this place to anyone TTC. Edit 08-09-22 so just got done with appointment Im on the IUI treatment of Letrozole and no success which was expected because I have already tried the 2.5 MG before and no results I just paid 2,827$ for them to do ultrasounds and some blood work which hurt by the way because the lady who drew blood was new I guess but that not the worst I have to pay another 2310$ if I want to do another cycle with the Letrozole treatment. I will post an update Thursday. Also there was not financial option available for me atleast I had to go to my bank and deposit another 500$ because of confusion and lack of communication all I wanted to do was talk to a doctor about the treatment but couldnt idk why there was nobody there but me... they called 10 minutes before i pulled in the parking lot and said hi I dont know if anyone has told you the cost for todays appointment but it is 2,310$ ..

Our first visit was very professional, pleasant, and informative. Every member of the team took the time to explain everything and made sure we were comfortable, and we are looking forward to working with them. I would highly recommend this office!!

The staff at Procreate Fertility Specialist are very unprofessional. I had to cancel my appointment because I was unable to obtain my medical records. I must have called about 10 times and every time the phone goes to voicemail. I left a message to cancel my appointment and they still sent me a no-show bill. I contacted the billing department and their response was well thats what happens when you miss an appointment

I Love the staff at Procreate! Everyone is friendly and I rarely ever have to wait very long. The care I have received here has been top notch and I am extremely grateful to Katherine Duey for all she has done for our family!

The staff, nurses and doctors are the best. I love this office. Doctor Perez and Kat have been seeing me for many years now. It feels like family to us. They are great at what they do. I highly recommend them.

My dream came true this October my baby born. so glad a found Dr. Perez and staff they are very helpful and kindness people only not good experience with billing but after all was worth it only one cycle and was blessed thanks God first and procreate.

Dr. Perez did a laparoscopic myomectomy to remove several fibroids. His staff was excellent through out the process, he was excellent and I have minimal scars and a quick recovery because of his expert gentle hands. I would recommend this clinic 100%

Go somewhere else, this people only want your money. after paying thousands of dollars and you have a concern about something, they will ignore you. You have to make a lot of phone calls and messages to the nurse that one assigned to you and no respond at all. After getting your money you will notice its hard to get in touch with them. They only want is money.. Go somewhere else who really cares.

I have been a patient here for over six years. The staff have been amazing! I know I wouldnt receive the same care somewhere else. Im extremely thankful for Procreate ❤️

They messed up my surgery. Lied to me about my results. If you have endometriosis do NOT go here even if your Dr recommends them because “you’re young” because of them not removing my endo where it was & lying that I didn’t have endo my kidneys started to fail! I went to a different Dr & he just fixed all their mistakes. They also told me something completely different than what they had to send to my insurance company. Don’t go here.

It was very clean. The staff was very nice and friendly. They made me feel comfortable and welcome.

My husband went in last year to get sperm count testing and was told that his count was good but that they couldn’t test the other things because the machine messed up and that they had to do a manual count so he had to take another test. Then the count came back zero then someone, not a doctor, just talked to him and that he needed to take 3rd test and they wanted more money. When he went back on the app to compare the initial results with the second test results they were gone. He spent about $500 and he was left with distrust and felt taken advantage of. They take advantage of people struggles and don’t even help them. No one has bothered to correct their incompetence. It takes a lot of courage to seek treatment and it’s disappointing and discouraging that he NEVER got a correct answer. (Chesapeake location)

There really are no words I can say to truly capture what Procreate has meant to me and my husband. I am forever grateful to Dr. Perez, NP Katherine Duey and the entire staff. Although infertility is a tough road they made the journey feel hopeful and supported us in the best way possible. The entire staff gets major kudos as this was the most pleasant experience I have ever had in a medical setting. They were gentle and kind and always on a first name basis which somehow made us feel like we werent lost in the crowd but a priority to them. We truly can not thank you all enough for the incredible gift you have given us. I would highly recommend you to anyone having difficulty with conceiving. The service and treatment I received from Dr. Perez and his team was excellent. The best of all is that Spanish is spoken. I recommend it to the Hispanic community. They wont regret it.
