This place is absolutely ridiculous. Went for my first appointment and sat in a room for a hour waiting for the doctor. Gave me paperwork and said get labs. I went to get blood drawn and they didnt send request over for the labs, called and they asked me what labs I need. What a joke! Waited on hold for over 30 min with no response then a hang up. These people should not be in business. Save yourself the trouble and find another place.

My cardiologist referred me there for a special pet scan.To be honest, I was a bit worried to go there, based on the more recent reviews; but I was very positively surprised. The associate at check-in was very friendly, and the wait was very short (I was there first thing in the AM). The tech who prepped and administered the injection and scan, was very kind, compassionate, and friendly. Made me feel at ease. He explained every step very thoroughly and made sure I was all set.The room were is was waiting (for my injection to circulate for an hour)was nice, there was a screen that showed silent, calming videos of the ocean, lakes, creeks etc. They gave me a blanket and dimmed the light for me so I could take nap. There was even a TV if I wanted to watch it.Everyone was nice during my scan, they told me about how long it would take for my doc to get the results, and walked me out after procedure was done. All in all the entire appointment went fast, everyone was friendly and I was very happy with the experience.

Six weeks ago, Feb 6th, I arrived 15min early per office policy for what I thought was my appointment with (Dr. Naga) turns out the 10:15 appointment was to sign some paper. Did that, and got sent back to waiting room for another 30+min, turns out the appointment time they gave me was for paperwork. The Dr. appointment wasnt until 10:45 and the lab work wasnt scheduled until 11:15, it was close to Noon before I was done. That little bit of deceitfulness was not the reason Im writing. All the labs came back, and no one contacted me so on Feb 21st, two weeks after lab appointment I reached out for a diagnosis to the practice via their online app Navigating Care, got confirmation they received the request, NO RESPONSE from Dr. Nagas office was received.I reached out again on March 5th, four weeks after lab appointment for a diagnosis, again I received confirmation of the receipt of request, they made ONE attempt to contact via phone at 1:22PM that day, I called back at 2.29PM and had to leave a message because they could not connect me to Dr. Nagas practice. No follow up phone call when the initial attempt failed or in response to me calling office and No response in their online app.I reached out again on March 20th, six weeks after lab appointment for a diagnosis, again I received confirmation of the receipt of request, I got a call back from Dr. Nagas assistant at 5:38PM, I answered and the first words out of her a mouth were We made attempts (plural) to contact you, I questioned this she confirmed they had made an attempt (singular). Then followed with excuses, then told me she couldnt discuss results of labs. I was hot at this point, she told me she felt disrespected and I told her how do you think I feel, one attempt to contact in six weeks... She hung up!! The assistant needs to be fired and I still need my diagnosis from labs drawn six weeks ago.

I love the Chesapeake office! They are very friendly and warm. They are very nice to me and always comfort me when I’m having a bad day. They address you by name, and make you feel good. It’s hard dealing with cancer at a young age, but they make you feel better about it. Dr. Alencar and Rebecca are warm and friendly, and they are on top of your cancer treatments.

This place needs better customer service and nurses who know how to put in IVs. They made very upset when they made me sit for forty-five minutes waiting on labs and people who got there 30 minutes after me got there labs. The person working the front just looked at me while this was happening. Called to complain and no response.UPDATE - I do feel better the managers called and addressed the situation with the staff and me.

The practice never sent labs orders to lab corp even after their office called two days prior to see if I had my blood work completed. Fasted, and went to Labcorp to complete and no orders were there. Tried calling office multiple times and no one would answer phone unless I hit option 1 stating I was a physician. Not only was I late for work but a very huge inconvenience and don’t understand how this office can be this disorganized!

I have been a patient here for a short time maybe 3/4 months. The new office needs help, the ladies in front when checking in and checking out are very rude to say the least. Last time I was there little less than a month ago I was checking out and beings theres NO SIGN telling you where to check out at, I waited in line with the first lady at the door (thinking) I was checking out. After a long period the rude lady looked at me when I was checking out like I had three eyes and rudely told me I had to check out at the other end I said where theres no sign saying that after waiting 20 minutes or so to check out...Very Rude person always has been since my time there and not just to me I hear the ladies talking to other patients the same way. Your a sick person, your scared and confused already and have to put up with that tone of voice and rudeness...Put up a sign so people know where to check out at...spend $5.00 for the sign or make one..

I called to make an appointment At this office and the rude Receptionist/Scheduler connected me to the Suffolk office! Without saying why... She could have took 1 minutes to explain that a doctors swapping form has to be filled out!!! I called back several times... And she would not pick up!!! I also work in the healthcare field, And would not treat anyone like that trying to seek medical attention!!!!!!!

My husband has been out of his meds for over two weeks. Tried to get the prescription refilled and CVS reached out and got no response, he called the office, left several messages, no response. CVS called them and they didnt respond to that either. Even called the insurance company to see what we could do. This is the worst!!

A brief summary of our experience with this facility...My wife was a patient at Virginia Oncology for close to two years re: blood issues...One night she had difficulty breathing so I took her to the emergency room...It turns out she had stage 4 lung cancer...How can a person be under the care of an oncologist for such a duration, develop stage 4 lung cancer and the doctor not know? ...The answer I got from her oncologist was a shrug of his shoulders...She subsequently died after suffering through two horrendous years fighting her illness...It is my opinion that any family member of a patient of this facility must be vigilant in monitoring the care their loved one receives and not to just blindly agree with or submit to the whims of the doctor because you think the doctor knows best...That was the mistake I made and we paid dearly for it.
