I had my second baby with Javonne, this was my first home birth and I cannot recommend her enough.She’s clever , she’s bold she is knowledgeable in both physical and psychological aspects of birth and women’s health, and she is very invested into letting the woman shape her own her birth. I personally needed to feel the “presence” of a professional, a strong spirit and a steady hand - and that’s how working with Javonne felt from the first phone call. Letting a mom lead the way but offering your skill and knowledge to serve that process is a tough balance but Javonne maintains it gracefully .One of the biggest differences to working with a doctor in a hospital was that she always chose transparency even if it left her vulnerable in order to preserve my right to make an informed decision. Her honesty left me very confident in our relationship and decisions I’ve made.With her guidance I learned to approach my fears and areas of self doubt and grow stronger there instead of basing decision making off avoiding them.She just really believed in me and that’s a truly transformative experience - it changed the kind of person I am, the kind of mom I will now be to my kids and the standard I have for medical care for all of my family members.I wish all women could experience birth this way.Besides everything said above, she has the warmest and most beautiful smile and such a piercing friendly gaze, they’re now imprinted in my brain forever and I am so happy that my daughter got to spend her first moments in the light of Javonne and Rani’s spirits.

Three Rings Midwifery was truly a Godsend during my pregnancy, labor, delivery & postpartum. Being a first time mom I didn’t know a lot about anything concerning pregnancy, let alone delivering a baby. I found Javonne & Three Rings via instagram and then my best friend showed me her page without even knowing I had been put her on my list haha. So it was Divine timing on how I chose her services. Javonne not only had a spirit that reassured me that she was a good fit but also the knowledge, practice & experience. In our consultation, she made me feel comfortable and was able to answer every question throughly while making sure I understood what she was saying. The thing I most loved was that not only did she help me with the medical aspect of pregnancy and delivery, she prepared me mentally as well. This really aided me when I was having fears and worries in my mind. Her ability to talk you through the blockages you may be experiencing goes a long way when sometimes you can feel as if your on an island and don’t know who to turn to. With Threw Rings I felt heard and was able to voice how I wanted my birth experience to be and I got just that! I went into early labor 3 days before I gave birth and when I tell you the patience, kindness, and love that was shown towards me in my home will forever be a treasured memory. When I felt like giving up, Javonne reminded me that I was capable. Even when I felt like I needed to go the hospital she never swayed my decision one way or another, she left the ball in my court. During my whole experience with Three Rings, I felt seen, heard & understood. Javonne is more like family than just a midwife! Her team (Connie) was just as amazing during my labor & delivery. It was truly a blessing to have them assist me in bringing my daughter into the world. My home was filled with love, laughter and a vibe that I envisioned. I will forever be grateful for Three Rings for making my pregnancy, delivery & postpartum journey safe & full of love.

Working with Javonne throughout my pregnancy and postpartum was an incredible experience. She was kind, thorough, respectful, intelligent, and always made me feel like I was in charge of my pregnancy and journey. Even when I had to transfer my care to a MFM and have a hospital delivery due to concern with our baby, Javonne continued to see me and support me through a very challenging time the rest of the pregnancy and postpartum. She is an incredible midwife and I would recommend her to everyone I know!

The home birthing experience with Jovanne was hands down the best birthing experience that I’ve had, with this now being my second child. The services are affordable, customizable, and convenient. With the help of Three Rings Midwifery I had the ability to take control of my mind, body, and soul to birth my beautiful daughter. Services are truly unmatched, thank you for helping me do a thing!

This was my first time picking my midwife that wasnt hospital appointed and having a home birth. I didnt know what to expect. I’m not sure a written review can accurately convey the gratitude I have for this experience. This was my third birth, second home birth, but first time working with Javonne.I have known Javonne since 2016 when we were working as nurses together. When my husband and I were planning to have another baby during the time she was getting into the homebirth space, I knew she would be the perfect fit for our needs. We had our first consult with her prior to getting pregnant so my husband could meet her, we could talk about our plans and express concerns we had. Right away my husband agreed this was the route to go for this baby.Prenatal visits were very personalized, hour long sessions that addressed both the physical and mental concerns of navigating pregnancy. I came into this pregnancy with many fears and anxieties from my previous births. Javonne always listened and asked the right questions to work through those thoughts. I spent a lot of time opening up, crying and working through worries. We were able to build a patient client relationship on a deeper level throughout the prenatal visits.When labor started Javonne was able to identify what I needed to progress through the various stages. We had many conversations coming up with a plan for labor and everyone involved felt ready when it was time. She never judged my decisions and allowed me to voice my needs. Because we had worked through my anxieties throughout my pregnancy, I felt super comfortable telling her whenever something came up mentally for me in labor. She was able to help me work through all of it to welcome my baby.Labor is hard and I found myself questioning why I was doing this (again). But I did it because I was able to be in the comfort of my own home. I did it because I had a midwife who understood me and knew what I needed to get through those obstacles. I did it because my son was born in a calm and loving environment to ease his transition.I wish this was not my last baby so I could have Javonne as my midwife and do it all over again. I have felt so supported every step of the way, from preconception to the postpartum period. Every woman deserves to walk away from their birth experience feeling this way. My husband and I feel so much peace and gratitude from this birth. Javonne was able to create the most perfect environment to bring our son earthside. We can never thank her enough.

Javonne is an amazing asset to the birth community! She has played a major role in helping me as a birth worker and business owner. Javonne has a wealth of knowledge and experience which she shares openly to help build up our community. Either through group discussions or one on one mentoring sessions Javonne makes herself available to help grow those around her. Some things that Javonne has help me with is fees/contracts and creating obtainable goals for the future of my business. Javonne has given me sound advice and guidance that I will use for many years to come!

If you choose Javonne as your midwife you will not regret it! She is extremely knowledgeable and a joy to be around. I planned for a water birth, but unfortunately had to be transferred to the hospital for a c-section. Javonne made sure I received vip service during my stay and keep me calm and focused. I wouldn’t choose anyone else!

My experience with Three Rings Midwifery was amazing! Javonne was very professional, patient and met all my needs. She made herself available to me 24/7. She listen and granted all my wishes and desires I wanted for my birth experience. I would highly recommend her services.

I love me some ms. J ( that’s What I call her) she was there with every question I had every concern. she gives solutions for whatever ache and pain you have by providing meds/herbs from the best of her knowledge. Ms.j got some very good teas btw! I recommend when she is in stock ! Ms. j can see the vision with you, and for you to bring your baby(ies) earth side. Even tho I didn’t get my natural birth like I wanted because baby had me change my course of plans (so I’m finding out as a first time mom nothing planned is set in stone with a kid (s)) she was there thru it all! And I’m forever grateful for ms.J🤎
