These people care more about being able to bill your insurance than the actual patients. Holding a prescription hostage for something that youve had for 15 years because they want you to come in doesnt really suggest they care about your health or well being but instead are concerned with whether or not they can get paid $120 to sign a renewal. So sad our Healthcare has been monopolized by big companies like this who make billions while the majority of Americans suffer.
What’s the point in using my chart? Unless you’re a doctor you won’t understand the test results; therefore it doesn’t make sense because all you are doing is upsetting me. I can’t even get an appointment with my doctor, I always end up with someone I don’t like. Your organization is getting too big, it doesn’t seem that you care about your patients at all. You have to wait days before the doctor responds in my chart. I miss the old the old days when the doctor would call and explain your test results.
I am very pleased with the services I receive at the Solon Family Health Center. My PCPs office is here, along with PT services. Most recently, I have had the need to have blood draws often. Scheduling appointments make it very easy and very short waits. I also want to give a shout out to Lillian who has done my last two draws. She is respectful and kind. She takes her time and makes me feel very comfortable.
When I have an order fir a blood draw, I choose Solon. I am a BIG CHICKEN when it comes to needles, either for shots or tests. I have always had the best
I will NEVER! In my life schedule an appointment here again! Ive never been to an OBGYN that has kept me in the waiting room 25 min after my appointment and then 30-40 min in the room cold as hell undressed waiting!!! I really needed this appointment but Ill just schedule with Metro bc that was very unprofessional to have me in that room for that long without communication knowing I am undressed waiting.
I have been in the CC system from Cleveland, to Florida and now back to Cleveland. I had an excellent Dr in Florida and back to Cleveland, an extraordinary Dr. Though he is a fairly young Dr. R. Stein) he has old school values in caring for his patient, me. I have an excellent dialog with him, meaning I can talk to him and he listens. Also, he actually calls me with my test results and explains the results and a plan moving forward. Doc has even taken the time to request to speak with the Pharmacist with a question. I think either I lucked up with Dr. Stein or he is just a good doctor who takes his career very serious when it comes to caring for his patients. I have had the opposite and I have identified them in public (reviews/surveys). So, when it comes to care, and a relationship with my healthcare provider, Im stating with this doctor who is part of the CC Network. When it comes to customer service and the staff getting me to Dr. Stein, it is not his fault. Training perhaps could be the issue. Perhaps CC can do better.
Never a good experience here first time I came for phlebotomy with my autistic 9 year old. He was afraid to get his blood drawn and the tech was very rude and said I’m not drawing his blood because he kept moving. I left out in tears I called the manager who was rude as well. Now I’m here today been waiting 2 hours for a ultrasound. No one has came out and said anything. I just heard the receptionist say hey did you call this patient yet, referring to me and the tech rudely said no we only have 1 room. I’ll never come to this place again.
I have called the phone number listed for this practice 2 times. Both times I spoke to an operator. I have orders from a Radiologist to have a biospy which must be performed by a specialist. All I would like to know is if I am able to achieve having the biopsy during the first appointment or if I will need to schedule an additional appt if the decision to have a biopsy is confirmed by this specialist.I am a person, I have responsibilities and I am held accountable for my time. I cant get a solid answer from this office to determine how much of my time they will need in order to perform what should be a routine appt. Instead, I have an operator telling me that I cant talk with anyone at the office she cannot tell me if they even have the equipment on location to perform a biopsy or if the doctor is going to have to order this procedure to be performed elsewhere. It is completely unacceptable to have patients scheduling multiple appointments to get results, when a little planning ahead could easily be managed. With the lack of upfront communication, there is no evidence to support that this practice has any level of professionalism or courteousy for their patients. I am seeking help elsewhere and would advise anyone else to do the same.If I cant get a simple question answered to determine how much of my time will need to be alloted for an appt, I should not expect the in person care to be anything but disappointing.
I always give 5 stars until now. Be careful, I waited 30 minutes and I was on time only to be taken back to the infusion center and find no patients except me and 2 nurses. This is not good folks. That was my monthly infusion in August. I might shift back to main campus. These nurses are not efficient. I know because I am a RN still working more than 50 years. Poor service speaks volumes.
Bloodwork was done by JoAnn!!! Amazing… I didn’t feel anything until she put on the bandaid! Kudos to JoAnn!!! 👍🏻I did have to wait 20 minutes for my “appointment”. You can do better than that CC. 👎🏻
Shout out to Jeannace! Got my blood on the first stick! All the girls in that lab are awesome and are working their tails off to process everyone as quickly as possible. If you don’t have an appointment, there may be a bit of a wait, be patient & be nice!
The staff here are pretty much all great! The reason Im giving a 1 star review is because the phone system is absolutely ridiculous. You will spend 45+ minutes waiting to talk to the pediatricians office for a question. The on-call staff are unhelpful, and youll wait another 30+ minutes waiting to talk to the on call nurse, which is especially stressful when you have a sick little one. Going to have to find a new OB and pediatrician who can actually answer the phone, and handle those urgent-but-not-emergency calls.
Dont want to brag, but my doctor is awesome. She has been taking care of me for years, but recently added years to my mothers life by discovering an illness she may have had for decades upon her first few visits. I love the Solon location of Cleveland Clinic, and drive 40 minutes for each appointment. The lab is fast and the staff are friendly. Being that I have a condition that requires me to have frequent visits and contact, it is great to have a staff of people that care and are professional.
Pretty good experiences for many years except that a care worker on the first floor decided to yell at me today because I was trying to use the Patient Only restroom when she decided SHE was going to use it. Had dollar bills pinned to her hospital scrubs. How ghetto with a capital G
45 minutes waiting for my appointment and eventually they said that people were on a break !!! ( everyone on a break!!!) very disorganized
Imposters where physician assistant pretends to be the orthopedic surgeon, phone runaround, unskilled nurses, on call doctor never called back, the orthopedic surgeon’s inability to read x-rays, zero response from ombudsman or patient experience office despite multiple follow ups from me, the patient! Here’s my email I wrote to CEO:I filled out your survey from the Cleveland Clinic Office of the Patient Experience and also went to the CC website to read about the Patient Experience office.I thought that that office was actually interested in my experience so I cannot understand why I have not received ANY communication from them!I fractured my my toe sept 25 and went to the Orho express care in Solon. I don’t understand how Cleveland Clinic, touted as being “the best” could fail in so many fronts:1. Sept 30 I left a very detailed voicemail at the Patient Experience Office. Did you not get this? If not why? what is the purpose of having a phone number with a recording asking the patient to tell you about their experience and no one has the vm? Now I, as the patient, have to spend my Fri nite instead of with my family and after a full day of work, writing to you. Why?Why did it take me to remind and chase the ombudsman’s office to contact me?why did I have to call 3 different phone numbers to have 3 different conversations with phone operators just to be transferred to the ortho clinic that serviced me? I actually never got transferred. After an hour I just plain gave up. What is the direct number to the ortho clinic i went to where someone actually picks up the phone?why when I called the 2 nurses on call: 1 told me to buddy tape my broken toe to the wrong toe? 1 told me that I needed to make an appointment with the doctor to answer my question about getting an identical shoe to the one given to me so my hips would not be lopsided when I walked? You don’t need a doctor appointment to answer this question. At my first visit: why did the PA not correct me when I addressed him as doctor when he is a PA? Why did the nurse refer to him as “doctor”? Does Cleveland clinic allow pretenders to mislead the public with credentials that are not true? Why did the PA ONLY give me a prescription for Naxoprene and say “ice is best”, and buddy tape to the other toe, not the one the nurse on call advised” as the ONLY directions for care? He said nothing about Epsom salts, how often to ice, anything about elevation, and zero about how to buddy tape! My toe was actually buddy taped incorrectly- it was skin to skin and he saw that. I learned all the rest from doing internet searches! Why when I called to talk to a doctor on call, I was told by the 3rd operator (because the second operator told me to call a number that was a “secret number”) that she would get a doctor on call to call me and if I did not hear back to call back”. Guess what? NO ONE ever called me back (so much for “doctor ON CALL”). Why ?On my second visit, when I asked the Dr to show me where on my toe my break was, she touched my skin on a point higher than what my actual x ray showed. Why?I filled out a survey that Cleveland Clinic gave me. Did you get it?I expect more from Cleveland Clinic. My overall patient experience was disappointing. I shudder to think how it would have been for a patient if something more serious. The service I should have received should have been a very simple exercise for you. My case is not that complex.I look forward to 9 separate thorough responses to each of my questions.
If I could have left 0 stars I would have. After having an appointment with an Endocrinology Dr who was great, I needed to send a message to the Dr about my test results. The office staff told me that she was part-time and that she would respond when she could. UNBELIEVABLE. I didnt know there was such a thing as a part time physician and there is no one covering for her. This has now happened to me twice and any time I get transferred through the phone to endocrinology, no one answers the phone. Her office staff is the worst I have ever encountered.
Always beyond slow and expect to wait 45+ (even when checking in with a 5 minute wait). I gave this 2 stars because it’s conveniently located. Work on making your waitlist a bit more accurate. I get that emergencies come up, but it’s getting ridiculous.
Dr. Brown is awesome. He was a computer programmer and switched careers. Brown has excellent real world experience and a high EQ to go with a his obvious high IQ. I feel very comfortable talking about my concerns and when I ask him questions on My Charts messaging, he always responds quickly with a thorough answer. This is important when you cannot always visit for an appointment. Its critical that your doctor takes time to get to know you and Dr. Brown treats his patients like family.
The physician/surgeon who saw me was very rude, to the point where I had to go to administrative representative to complain about her. The physician/surgeon was incompetent, non-understanding, nor did she take none of my issues seriously even with the diagnosis in my chart. She rudely told me to loose weight, when she isn’t a size 3 herself, and basically repeated the same stuff another doctor said, even being referred to this place makes me question if they take health seriously. They won’t even sign FMLA PAPERWORK even if the conditions or condition are covered by it. Truthfully I didn’t feel welcomed here.
This review is solely based upon the fact that no matter what you cannot get a direct call made to the doctors office. Cleveland clinics one phone number for all offices is ludicrous. When you need to talk to your doctor or someone to get a prescription refilled, you have to talk to an operator and cannot get transferred to the correct person without a struggle. We love the doctor, but this system just may be enough of a pain in the butt to get us to switch pediatricians.
Every time that I have been to the clinic, they made me feel comfortable about the physical exams. I am all about how comfortable one should feel with the doctor. The clinic is very hands on and has a way of making you feel special.
Walked in late Saturday afternoon, greeted immediately, nice chat with the ladies while checking in; sat down for maybe 4 minutes and was called to a room; waited another 4 minutes for Doc to come in, she was pleasure and thorough; in and out; Not bad at all. Way better than I was expecting. Not complaints.
Have not been to the doctor for a while but an hour plus in the waiting room then an hour plus in the office room and Im still sitting here waiting. I thought they forgot about me. I understand its a workmans comp claim but WOW!!!! At least everyone is nice. If you have an appointment for tomorrow I might see you. Best of luck
Worst experience trying to schedule an appointment. They canceled an appointment I had made at 9pm the night before my 8am appointment. I have been on the phone for 30 minutes trying to reschedule and being transferred to about 10 different people just for a basic annual physical. EXTREMELY disappointed with Cleveland Clinics scheduling.
I have been going to my PCP at Solon Cleveland Clinic for about 8 years. He is a very professional internist, easy to talk with, very upbeat personality, always prompt for appointments, thorough, quickly puts all my test results and medical information on My Chart which I can access on my computer. It is a 50 minute drive each way, but I have confidence in my doctor so wont change. Anytime I need blood tests, ultrasound, MRI, mammogram, etc. it can be done in the same building or at Twinsburg, if I prefer. The doctor answers my questions in person or online. My doctor is also kept aware of my OB-GYN oncology care as all my various Cleveland Clinic records are computerized. If I go to the ER, the triage knows everything necessary about me immediately via the computer. I also took my father to this same doctor for 9 years when Dad was aged 90-98 and both Dad and I always had great confidence in the care he received. My only regret is that the doctor could not visit Dad while he was in nursing care or hospice during his last two months of life and once a patient is admitted to a hospital (e.g. Hillcrest, South Point, Main campus, etc.) the PCP is not there to supervise your care or visit during these scary, stressful times.
Dr. Starenchak has looked after me since 2014 at least, maybe longer. He’s one of if no my Favorite Doctor I’ve had. Great Person who isn’t racing patient to patient and impersonal or short with you. He cares, so if u care about ur health he will be the guy to assist in making u healthy
Do not schedule your lab work here, the staff in the lab are not experienced and you will guarantee have a painful experience. Do yourself a favor if you need lab work schedule at CC’s Twinsburg facility
No same day appointments available, had to wait for over 50 minutes and to talk to 4 people only to be told that I need to go to express care as they are short on providers! Oh and get this- the triage nurse wouldn’t talk to you on the phone unless your child is right next to you! Really?? What a waste of time!
I always bring something to read in the waiting room but never have a chance to open my magazine. Not a fan of the new check in process but the staff gets you in on time. Very happy with the visits.
Dr Kelly Gaines, is one of the best Doctors I ever had . Ive been with her for years. Wherever she goes I will follow and I came from Florida back to Cleveland to see her. 🏆
Worst facility in the area. Karen Johnson will schedule an appointment but not treat you. very money hungry office. 5 days an she has received lab confirmation of the diagnosis but they toss you to the side without treatment
Medical staff is fine for the most part, but you just can’t get anyone to answer the phone there. This has happened several times.
Easy, free parking. Right off the highway. Staff is helpful. My doctor is great! All good here!
Worst customer service I have ever received. I wouldn’t waste your time scheduling a appointment at the Solon facility especially with a pediatrician. It only has one star so I could post this review.
I live in Florida, they sent a claim to medicare for covid test for my husband who has been deceased for four years!!!!!!
Ive been sitting here waiting for over an hour. After 70 minutes they told me that I had to check in which I already did. Upon returning to the check in, I find out that I did indeed check in 70 minutes ago. Disorganized!
When you walk in there....be prepared to be treated like you are sub human. Definately worst customer service experience I ever had.
Auto check in kiosk is aggravating and annoying when you have more then one appointment you have to do full check in from beginning for each appointment
Trying to call the office is awful. You cant get a direct line to the office, but must instead be transferred through many people. Waiting for someone to pick up the phone takes a lot of time as it seems no one ever answers the phone here. No one likes to be on hold for more than ten minutes.
They employ a anti vaxxer dr. Daniel neids. He is a danger to the health and safety of our kids.
Dont even try to schedule an appointment here. Ive been on hold twice for 15 minutes each time. Impossible.
Took care in 50 minutes great staff.
Had to drop off. Covid19 test so I can get a procedure done. So glad it was available on a Saturday.
Lab hours have changed since 1/6/2020They now close at 5:30 M-F
Only here to drop off a 34 hour urine and I have been here an hour...Absolutely ridiculous.
Go to Cleveland Clinic for my doctors appointments.
Only go here if you have nothing to do for the entire day and the next day. Go somewhere else, thank me later
Theres wonderful people who are working here.
Dr.Reed and her staff are the greatest!
Pediatrics staff all very friendly
Long waits and terrible care!!!!!
I love it here
