I absolutely love Dr. Fernandez. She is everything that you want in a doctor. She is warm and thorough and absolutely respectful to whatever your questions or issues are. She must be a really good manager too because everyone in her office conducts themselves in the same way. They are friendly, competent, and accommodating. One of the best experiences Ive ever had with a physician.

UPDATE: well as much as I liked Heather; my amazing experience turned out horrible. I had my test to see if I could get the treatment I needed to correct my problem on 10/30, then my procedure was supposed to be scheduled within a couple of weeks. The office had staffing issues in their scheduling department and my procedure never got scheduled, my insurance was never verified and I never found out if this was going to be an affordable option for me or not. Then to top it off I got a very bad UTI from the test they did. When I attempted calling the office manager sometime around the 20th of December to discuss this issue she didnt call me back, then went on vacation until January 7th, I started leaving messages again for her after the 7th and had to threaten to email the doctor before I got a call back. I advised I have new insurance this year and would need to start the process over and that I would be seeing a different doctor altogether. I also asked for my copay back for the day of the procedure and was advised it could be as long as 10 weeks before I could see a check. Wow! All I can say is I no longer recommend Womens Care at all. Be aware. If I could leave a minus 5 stars I would. Oh and by the way, I never got to see the doctor at all the whole time I was going there. Terrible place, just too busy yet he keeps taking new patients. At which point do you stop and just provide decent care for your existing patients!

If you want a physician who truly listens to her patients, then go see Dr Fernandez. Dr Fernandez exemplifies efficiency, empathy and professionalism.

Dr. Fernandez and her staff were very welcoming and supportive with care. She is very nice and gentle when it comes to exams, explained everything in depth to me seeing as it was my first time. would recommend

THE PEOPLE AT THIS PLACE HAVE THE MOST INDIFFERENT ATTITUDE TO PATIENT CARE & SAFETY I’VE EVER WITNESSED .I wish I could give this place negative stars! I drove a patient to this office (Uber) who was barely ambulatory & having difficulty.1. They sent her to the wrong address initially. Thank God I went i to the office to verify for her before she got out.2. Upon waiting several minutes for them to correct the address, we finally got to the right office (fortunately only about 10minutes away). No “sorry we did that to you” or anything.3. We got to the new office, I go inside & ask for them to have someone to come help her due to her condition. They just stared at me & literally didnt move or answer…stuck on stupid.4. I go out & help the lady myself, which takes a significant amount of time. STILL nobody from this “Women’s Care” office came outside to help her. When we finally made it in, one of the front desk staff said they arent “authorized to help in that way” (as if an Uber driver is, smh), but they never even attempted to get anyone else from the back. Instead they just stood there looking at each other & not answering for SO LONG that I asked one of them if she was stupid.Instead of helping the woman, they instead focused on my tone, which was heavily irritated at that point. The name of the office has the nerve to be called “Women’s Care” 🙄 & they obviously couldn’t give a damn about their patients &/or making sure they’re safe & don’t fall. I’ve never before witnessed such a lack of willingness to help a patient & THAT’S THEIR JOB.Add to that they dont care how much they inconvenience the patients by sending them to the wrong addresses (happens regularly) & also inconvenience the drivers who have to decline other rides $$ while they sort out their incompetence & sometimes must complete the ride with no pay…just out of kindness.DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE!!! ANYWHERE is better than what I witnessed today

Dr. Fernandez is quite nice, i’m having frustrations with my ongoing issues however she is understanding and is figuring it out with me. Im glad she ran more tests rather than treating for the same thing over and over.

Very professional establishment. Inviting front office. Very friendly staff. Dr Kristen Fernandez is very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail.

Virtually impossible to get in contact with the scheduling desk. I have called several times and it continuously rings once and gets directed to voicemail. Makes me very hesitant to turn over my pregnancy care with Womens Care when even reaching them is a painful task. Michelle the nurse and Jennifer at front desk are the only 2 people I have been able to interact with and are very pleasant.Update: 7/10/2024Thankfully they figured out the front desk situation and I was able to transfer care to their team and have never looked back. The medical team at this hospital went beyond all my expectations. From my pre-natal appointments up to my labor & delivery. The standard of care received made me feel so comfortable every step along the way. Thank you. 🤍

Dr. Fernandez was very professional, listened to my questions/concerns. Answered them and allowed me to provide feedback. Her ability to communicate effectively exemplified her passion and love of her career and patients. I’m happy that I chose her as my new provider and I look forward to my future visits!

Doctor is knowledgeable and staff is very kind and professional. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen.

Very personable receptionist, med tech and doctor. The doctor made me feel like a good friend and not a number. She sat and asked me if I had any concerns about my current health or future needs. I felt comfortable discussing my sexual health with her.

I got a recommendation from a coworker so I made appointment for my mom, we both take a day off so I can take my mom to the appt, and the office called us an hour before the appointment told us that they do not take our insurance, they have to cancel our appt. Insurance policy is required when you make appointment, so they do not even bother to check pts insurance before approving?? Im a Baptists employee and still not recommend it. That is not very professional.

This is the first time I’ve met Dr Fernandez and I’m glad I found her since my GYN moved out of the area. Dr Fernandez is pleasant, knowledgeable and has good bedside manner.

I have been a patient of Dr Fernandez for well over 20 years. I trust her, as well as 2 of my daughters go to her. She is a great doctor and a good person. She truly cares

I’ve been going to Women’s Care to see Dr.Kristen Fernandez for many years. I feelLike she knows my body and the fact that she focuses on gynecology puts me at ease when I have an appointment with her. She has done my ablation and surgeries herself. I was saddened to hear that she was asked to leave because she doesn’t do obstetrics. Well, I’m 43 and for older women who are her patients and not having children, it’s a blessing to have a doctor that they can trust who focus on gynecology ONLY. I want to recommend people go to Women’s care but I won’t because the one doctor I would recommend won’t be there anymore

Dr. Fernandez delivered my daughter 17 years ago. She’s my trusted OB. She’s been consistent with my care. She takes her time with you. She doesn’t rush you in and out. She listens to all of your concerns and makes you feel extremely comfortable. Her office is convenient to get to and the checkin and checkout process is seamless. I love her! She’s extremely knowledgeable and there’s no one else I’d rather go to for my most intimate healthcare.

Dr Fernandez is a thoughtful and caring physician. I am always given the best care and options for my health and wellbeing. The office staff is prompt and helpful. This is an EXCELLENT practice

Dr. Fernandez is very professional and the staff is very polite but my favorite part is how invested she is with her patients wellbeing. Always a smile, listens and answers all questions one might have and never in a hurry.If I had a daughter, she would be the doctor I’d bring her to.

Dr Fernandez explained things well. It was okay. She created a care plan and treatment after my visit... I just felt like she left the room without asking if I had other questions. I thought of some, but she was already gone and on her way to next patient. Overall it was just okay.

You will it find a more caring doctor. Dr. Fernandez always takes the time to make you feel comfortable and discuss all of your concerns. I have been seeing her for over 20 years. I now live about 45 minutes from the office but will continue to go and see her.

Best OB/GYN visit I have ever had. Dr. Fernandez is God sent. Dr. Fernandez made me feel seen and heard. Entire staff was amazing from front desk to medical assistant Very friendly. This clinic is very clean and organized. I walked in with anxiety walked out with none.

Dr. Fernandez is wonderful. She is always quick and efficient but takes the time to listen to what I have to say. She gives me a sense of confidence in her knowledge of what to do/options are available and her knowledge of me as a patient.

I LOVE Dr. Lisa; however, I just found out while overseas that I am expecting. Ive been trying for 4 days to get an appointment with a doctor for more orientation and to know my next steps. They asked for my medical records, I told the person on the phone that I had it all in PDF, and they said it all had to be faxed (I solved this with a lovely person who was willing to help and accept my records in PDF by email). After they received my documents, they claimed they needed someone to translate them, unable to give me an estimate of when I should expect a return from them. It is fascinating that, in my blood work, there is a HCG (the test has the same name in both languages) test, and I am positive that anyone who looks at it, independent of what language they speak, would be able to read the results. My conclusion is that they are too busy to proceed with my appointment request. It seems easier to make an appointment with GOD then pass thru the front-line service from this office. Dr. Lisa, Ill miss you!

Doctor was super friendly & made me feel really comfortable.

I felt so heard and valued. Dr Fernandez took so much time to explore my history and understand me as an individual, not a report on paper. I feel so validated and now have a plan moving forward. I’m extremely thankful.

Longest wait out of all my doctors. The office staff has no idea when you came in last, or what you need to sign. The whole experience is stressful. I left before even being called back after watching patients who checked in after me get called back before me.
