Her care is tailored, holistic, flexible and effective! I really cannot say enough good things about Dr. Rubal. I live in Los Angeles and she is in Newport which I thought was going to be an issue and it has not been at ALL. Dr. Rubal is so great I would travel by planes, trains or automobiles to see her.... We are so thankful to Dr. Rubal and so lucky that we found her. Dr. Rubal is the best doctor I have been to. She has a holistic and tailored approach to starting a family. She took the time to know us, both me and my husband, and asked us a lot of questions to get to any underlying causes of our recurrent miscarriages. My husband and I had met Dr. Rubal back in 2018. She is an awesome, fantastic doctor. She’s very knowledgeable, caring, kind, down to the point, and responsible doctor. Throughout all the office visits and treatments, both my husband and I (especially myself who is super sensitive about other’s view) didn’t feel any discomfort with Dr. Rubal (not even once)! She would explain things clearly and patiently until we understood and wouldn’t let you feel that you’re too dumb or too slow to understand things; which unfortunately I had that kind of experiences with other infertility doctors. Anyhow, I was very lucky to get pregnant with twins during the first treatment cycle. All my experiences with Dr. Rubal were excellent! I cannot thank her enough for such pleasant experience. There are not enough words to describe how incredible Dr. Rubal is. She is solely responsible for giving our family the most incredible gift, our baby girl. Throughout the entire journey, Dr. Rubal was kind, patient, understanding and took genuine interest in our situation. I’ve never seen a doctor take so much time to ensure we were getting what we were so deeply longing for. It was as if she wanted this baby too. Absolutely amazing experience! This is our 3rd time trying to achieve a pregnancy and this is the first time we leave having HOPE. At the other first 2 places, they spent no time with us and directed us to only giving us an option of IVF. Given that my husband and I are very God loving individuals, and follow our beliefs IVF is not an option for us. Dr. Rubal was so thorough and extremely knowledgeable with educational details that we completely understood what other options we possess. Most importantly, Dr. Rubal was so patient, understanding and compassionate toward our situation that we felt very comfortable. We are extremely happy that finally we have found hope! My husband and I are so very grateful we were referred to Dr. Rubal bay a friend that knew our story. We have been trying to get pregnant for about 3.5 years now and been through fertility treatment for 2.5 and miscarriages and every other stressor in between. Every Dr Ive been to has rushed the visits, barely listens and shoves a medication bottle in my face to force me to ovulate rather than find the root cause of why Im not ovulating and why I had MC... Dr. Rubal has done just that. She thoroughly listened to our story from start to finish and immediately started writing up a game plan. Dr. Rubal is a gem. She is genuinely kind, patient, and highly knowledgeable in addition to being detail-oriented, thorough, and easy to communicate with. She walked me through one of the most difficult circumstances of my life and did so with a great amount of compassion and expertise. I felt truly cared for and well taken care of physically, emotionally, and spiritually. She has a gift. I wouldn’t hesitate to see Dr. Rubal again if any future needs arose. Dr. Rubal is absolutely an answered prayer! We searched and searched for an infertility doctor that understood our beliefs and Dr. Rubal has been nothing short of amazing. From my first phone conversation with her, I felt like she truly understood our struggle and how hard this journey can be as devout Catholics. Her knowledge and ability to explain is astounding. Referrals led us to Dr. Lauren Rubal at Kaiser Permanente, naturally, the first thing I did was cross-referenced her name on Google and yelp. I wasnt too impressed with her reviews but kept my appointment anyhow - BOY AM I GLAD I DID!!!..We had an AMAZING experience with Dr. Rubal. She is thorough, caring, genuine, thoughtful, compassionate, knowledgeable and personable. We felt so good about our experience with Dr. Rubal we followed her to RFC for IVF (yes, we investigated other centers and met with other doctors but still decided to stick with Dr. Rubal).The one issue I had was the wait time.. Until I realized that, at times, Dr. Rubal runs behind because she takes her time with each patient. Dr. Rubal had a wonderful way of presenting information in a clear concise manner then would present options and share her opinion as needed. We never felt rushed or unimportant she answered all our questions and made herself available for answers later if necessary. Sometimes she communicated with us through the office staff but would always call with the important stuff! Ive received calls from Dr. Rubal in the evening from her personal phone as shes running from one place to another --talk about dedication!We havent been a patient of Dr. Rubal for about 6 weeks now (since weve our pregnancy has been confirmed) yet she still checks in on us! I highly recommend Dr. Rubal if you want a doctor that is competent, knowledgeable, friendly, respectable and approachable.Its been the greatest experience getting pregnant with Dr. Rubal (haha)Thank you Dr. Rubal!

Dr. Rubal has been such an amazing blessing on this journey. From the beginning she was compassionate about our situation. She asked us questions about our history and what we wanted and really made us feel listened to. What was most important was that she gave us hope. She used a wholistic approach and gave us many options to help us find answers, and a thorough plan to help us feel confident in trying after our reoccurring miscarriages, each supported by research. She listened to our concerns and answered many questions thoroughly and patiently. She has been understanding, knowledgeable, thorough,  ​and passionate in helping us and we are truly grateful for getting to work with her.

Dr. Rubal is the best of the best her field. We first met her after our insurance changed and were starting the fertility journey again to try to have a second baby. From the first visit, she was warm, friendly and compassionate. She took her time to explain everything and answer all our questions. She was honest and realistic about our options and what may work and what may not work. Even when she had to deliver difficult news to us about a treatment not working or having to delay a cycle, she always remained positive and made me feel better about a difficult situation. I’m in the medical field and I feel like I have very high expectations when is comes to physicians and I promise you, you will not regret making an appointment with Dr. Rubal. I feel fortunate to have met Dr. Rubal. She has it all, an excellent bedside manner and the brains. When I had questions, she had the answers with facts and info regarding studies on why she chose a certain medication which again being in the medical field really appreciated. AMAZING!!

Dr. Rubal told me more on our first meeting than multiple Reproductive Endocrinologists combined. I’ve been on a fertility journey for 5 years with multiple failed IUI’s and IVF’s, and by far this has been the most positive Doctors experience I’ve encountered. My husband and I were told we needed to move onto adoption and deep down in my heart I disagreed. Dr Rubal looks deeply into your situation and offers alternatives to the cookie cutter IVF world. Basically she is AMAZING! She was kind, caring, and so knowledgeable! It feels like you are not only talking with your good friend, but also a person that can answer almost every fertility google search you could imagine! I wish I would’ve seen her years ago! I am so thankful I got to meet with Dr. Rubal and that people like her exist for us in the trenches of our fertility journeys!

My wife and I have been through multiple doctors for infertility and Dr. Rubal was by far the most helpful. She was always very pleasant, willing to answer any questions we had and explain in detail. We felt very comfortable with her and the direction she was taking us in. She was also the first one who really seemed to take an interest in determining what the underlying issues were which lead us to finding polyps and endometriosis. When my husband and I were first starting out on our infertility journey, we were not ready to jump into something as aggressive as IVF straight away. We wanted more root of the problem answers and to try to conceive as naturally as possible. Dr. Rubal was an answer to prayer! Im so grateful to have had the opportunity to be under her care. She thoroughly dived into and dissected our medical histories. We uncovered life changing discoveries. She patiently listened. She was ever present. Dr. Rubal is hands down the best doctor I have ever seen. She is kind, attentive, and so understanding!My first appointment was online, and it felt like she was right there with me! I have been treated by Dr. Rubal for about two years. She has been incredible to work with. Shes always very thorough and takes the time to answer all my questions. Shes very cautious when developing treatment plans and I truly feel like she always has my best interest in mind. Infertility is a long, hard journey but having the right doctor on my side has made it a little easier. She follows new studies and research and always has new insights to offer. Ive seen 3 other infertility doctors and she is by far the best which is why im willing to travel 1.5 hours to see her. I highly recommend her to anyone struggling with infertility.

Writing a review for Dr. Rubal is like writing a review for a close, trusted friend. We began our infertility journey close to 5 years ago, and she’s been with us every step of the way. Through multiple rounds of IUI, and 4 rounds of IVF (2 of which we’re successful), Dr. Rubal has been the rock and the expert we needed. Her positivity helped us remain optimistic over the years, yet she never failed to be honest with news that was difficult to hear. She held our hand- both literally and figuratively, as we went through the ups and downs of trying to conceive. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and yet so friendly. My husband and I came to view her more as a family member through the whole process rather than just our doctor. She is the reason we have 2 healthy, amazing daughters, and we were devastated to have to leave her when our pregnancies progressed far enough along to go to a normal OBGYN. I cannot speak highly enough of her, and it’s almost worth around round of treatment just so we can see her again. :)

Dr. Rubal is PHENOMENAL. If youre looking for a reproductive endocrinologist, please look no further. You will not find a more compassionate or thorough physician out there. We only wish we had found Dr. Rubal sooner. We traveled to see her after seeing 2 previous REIs who did not recognize our goals or provide holistic treatment options - we were successful after 2 months! She picked up on subtle details they had completely overlooked. She truly evaluates you as an entire person - not just a clinical case. She validated our concerns and took the time to get to know us and our medical history. She explained detailed endocrinology/reproductive information at a level that my non-medical husband could understand and checked our understanding at each stage. She understood my experience as a female in medicine and demonstrated so much awareness of our circumstances and the emotions of fertility evaluations. She acknowledged the role of our religious beliefs in our treatment preferences and provided me so much peace of mind after being dismissed by other REIs. She fully encouraged informed decision making and customized our plan according to our goals. She has extra fellowship training in integrative medicine and is very knowledgable of fertility awareness methods. She was able to provide the holistic approach we have been so desperately searching for in the reproductive endocrinology field. She is very prompt about responding to follow up questions. Dr Rubal has been AMAZING. I have never once had a Dr that made me feel this comfortable not knowing something then when I asked have them actually take the time to explain the steps and process along with the whys along the way.Long story short.... My wife and I have been going through several miscarriages. Dr Rubal has explained the steps and process with allowing us to feel OKAY.I remember us walking into her office with the feeling of hopelessness as well being in a daze about the whole situations. So much unknow when going through a miscarriages, let along several. When leaving her office the first time I could have cried with the amount of joy and hope I was given. I know nothing is a guarantee to work. However that feeling of hopelessness and self blaming has been removed, that to me is priceless.I know Im leaving a lot out.. just know and understand if your reading this and you have gone through miscarriages.. Dr Rubal is amazing. There is NOBODY else I could even consider mentioning. As well know that your not alone.

Dr. Lauren is gorgeous inside and out. She exudes positivity in each of our visit and as patients, we can see that shes happy with what shes doing. She meticulously explains every steps of the treatment plan and respects the decision we make, not forcing us to do procedures that we felt we’re not ready. The best part is she has the gentlest hand in performing TV ultrasound and performing pelvic exams.

If you want to be under the care of a physician who takes the time to educate you and explain until you are fully satisfied look no further. I followed Dr Rubal from Kaiser because she shows compassion, she listens, and I knew she was not going to push something I was not comfortable with. She is open to ideas and hearing you out. You are able to contact her via email and she will take the time to answer your questions. I absolutely love Dr. Rubal and I know you will too. She is my cheerleader through this process.
