MiDoctor - Walk-in Urgent Care & Primary Care - Upper East Side

I spent a few days in NYC during the holiday and unfortunately got food poisoning. Both the doctor and the nurse were very patient and attentive. They made me feel comfortable and safe. My conditions got better upon leaving their place. I am thankful for their support.

I feel Dr. Lipovich is an exceptional physician who truly listens and cares about the patient.She took the time to understand my concerns and ensured I received the right medication and advice. Her dedication and compassion make all the difference. Highly recommended!The whole staff I came in contact with at Mi Doctor were very nice and helpful!

I had an exceptional experience at this urgent care. The staff was professional, courteous, and efficient. I was seen quickly, and the medical team provided thorough care while addressing all my concerns. Highly recommend for anyone needing prompt, quality healthcare.

Dr. Lipovic is absolutely amazing! I saw her at 6:30pm after having an abnormal blood test. To be on the safe side she repeated it and then called me at 8am with the results ans next steps! Plus she took the time to explain the significance of the results in a way I could actually understand. The other doctors I have met (Dr. Chang and Dr. Laura) have also been so attentive with wonderful bedside manners.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Firstly, I was having an allergic reaction to a skincare product and when I went in for my physical the “doctor” told me it wasn’t an allergic reaction. I ended up having to book with my derm and pay another copay. Additionally, they will lie to you and tell you to book a follow up appointment to review blood work because it’s “out of range” and then end your appointment 30 seconds in because everything looks normal. May be fine for urgent care if need be, but for primary care at all costs!!!

Dr. Zacahary Cohen MD is absolutely an amazing doctor! I have had him as a doctor for 1 year & he was hands on & very thorough. I wont be able to have my general physical with his office this year, because Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey decided that they are not going to pay the bill for doctors I see in New York, isnt that nice! Dr. Cohen is really great!

Nice facility and everyone is friendly, but its painful to get prescriptions refilled. Im not a fan of having to see a doctor or PA to simply get a refill of standard meds. I then get bills in the mail that arent itemized and I really have no idea what Im being charged for. Is there a cost for me to walk in and get a script filled? Shouldnt be. The online patient portal is also not very good. My previous primary facility had a great online system where I could ask questions of my doctor and request refills without having to come in. Often when I call this location nobody answers the phone, forcing me to take time out of my day to visit.

Avoid MiDoctor for Immigration Medical TestsMy experience with MiDoctor was disappointing on multiple fronts. I took the time to call them three times in advance to confirm costs, timelines, and required documents since I had a strict USCIS deadline. Despite this, the service was riddled with issues.1. Lost Samples: They lost my initial blood and urine samples and failed to notify me. I only found out when I followed up in person at the clinic, wasting an entire week.Both visits for blood draws left painful bruises on my arms that lasted for weeks.2. Paperwork Errors: When I went to collect my paperwork, there was a typo in my name. Correcting it took over an hour, during which multiple errors were made before they finally got it right.3. Unexpected Costs: I repeatedly asked about additional costs for blood work during my visits and phone calls. Each time, they reassured me it would be minimal (around $30). However, I recently received an unexpected $183 bill from the lab, on top of the $595 I had already paid.4. Rude Customer Service: When I called to clarify the unexpected charges, I was met with hostility. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, the representative was condescending and blamed me for not understanding the process. What could have been resolved with a simple apology turned into a heated conversation.The entire experience has been unnecessarily stressful, and I regret choosing MiDoctor. Save yourself the frustration and find a provider with better service and accountability.

This is a terrible place to handle medical paperwork for immigration check-ups required for USCIS. They lost the blood sample they initially drew for lab testing, so we had to have the blood redrawn. The nurse who performed the second blood draw was inexperienced, resulting in scarring that lasted for weeks.To make matters worse, they repeatedly made errors on the paperwork for USCIS. It took hours to complete as they kept reprinting the documents to correct small mistakes each time.Additionally, we were assured that the lab testing would cost no more than $30 and that insurance would cover it. However, we just received a bill for $183, which our insurance won’t cover. When we called to ask about the bill, the receptionist was condescending and completely unhelpful.This clinic embodies the worst aspects of the U.S. medical system. I strongly recommend finding another clinic.

My husband booked an appointment in the middle of his work day to come here for TDAP. When he called, he specified he needed to get TDAP and they were able to reserve his appointment. Once he got there, not only did he have to wait over 1 hour with an appointment, he spent another 45 minutes there because they realized they didnt have TDAP vaccine in stock and actually made my husband go get the vaccine to bring back into the clinic. I do NOT recommend this clinic, that was probably the least efficient and professional experience Ive ever heard of anywhere.

It was a great, quick visit and I felt my doctor demonstrated a lot of legitimate concern for not only my issue, but for my overall health and wellness too. She went beyond the call of duty.

**Update: Still havent gotten in contact with someone who actually sent the referral (ive been asking for) that I needed for over a month now. I guess a second round of breast imaging to make sure there are no issues after I had a lumpectomy a couple years ago isnt important.Been calling for over a month to get my PCP to send over a script for a necessary mammogram. I keep calling & they keep saying “we’ll send it.” But they haven’t. Had to change my PCP because of this

After getting my thumb caught in the door jam, I wound up at MiDoc. It was close to home and the reviews looked ok. I’m not one to mince words but this was the best walk in experience I’d ever had. Leanne and Cassandra at the front desk checked me in and got me in right away. Amy, the Medical Assistant stayed with me on and off until Dr. Palli could get the instrument he needed to treat the injury. Debbie, the other medical assistant/nurse, was also caring. The entire team provided care over and above anything I could’ve expected. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Palli and medical assistant Debbie were amazing. They were personable and kind with great bedside manner. Debbie took my blood and it didn’t hurt at all, and Dr. Palli answered all of my questions. I will definitely be using them as my primary care clinic from now on because they made me feel super safe and taken care of. Thank you, MiDoctor!

THIS is what an urgent care is supposed to be. I went in for travelers food poisoning and was seen quickly and given appropriate care. The doctor and team are all very competent and efficient. This was single-handedly the best urgent care experience I’ve ever had!

The service is amazing. Easy to book the appointment. The staff are super friendly and patient. Dr PALLI and team asked me detailed questions about how I feel and provided prescription and good advice. Would definitely recommend someone if helpful

Brought my patient in here today for stitches and have no regrets at all. You don’t have to wait a long time, everything was clean and organized, everyone was friendly. plus, Dr. Danielle (couldn’t spell her last name right) with Debbie were awesome; they were so quick and thorough in treating my patient. Awful customer service. Doctor told me a prior authorization would be sent that day. Pharmacy sent them the forms the same day and was told to wait a week. I call a week later and they lie and say the pharmacy just sent the forms, which I know is not the case (i have time stamped messages). It is an extremely important med I need and they dont care. I called and they are rude and clueless. I would avoid this place at absolute all costs. They are absolutely clueless

Office was not busy on a Fri afternoon. Filled out med forms. Taken into room promptly. PA came in asked some pertinent questions prior to administering flu vaccine. In & out in 20 min or less.

I have taken my medically complicated son to this practice twice in the past few months. Both times the whole experience has been exceptional. Front desk friendly and efficient. Nurses friendly, calm and reassuring to my son who is autistic and experiences high anxiety at medical facilities. Doctor both times experienced and practical with compassionate patient manner. No long wait time. Clean and comfortable waiting area and exam rooms. Highly recommend.

Compared to our experience at City MD which was 10/10, this practice was unpleasant to say the least. The waiting room was empty, cleanish and the solitary receptionist was fine, pleasant but not particularly welcoming. It took quite a long time to be assessed considering the place was empty. The nurse was in the wrong profession! She not only showed zero empathy, but seemed annoyed to have to treat me. Her behaviour and demeanour were so rude and disengaged, that I had to ask her if her bad day was impacting her treatment of me, and then I had to send my husband to request a new nurse. From the minute I hobbled in to the room, she glared at me as if to tell me to hurry up, she didnt speak other than to tell me to sit. She didnt address me as an injured patient, or even as a fellow human being. When I asked her if her grumpy day was affecting her work, she simply stared at me.Dr Alex came in to take over and he was lovely. He did apologise for the nurses treatment of me. My leg was checked, but the nurse hadnt left the results of my pulse and blood pressure check, and nobody asked me whether I was on any medications other than blood thinners. The bandage provided by the doctor was damaged in the opening of the package, but still applied. I would have preferred a new undamaged bandage for the $250 cost of the appointment, but that was not offered.I would NOT recommend this medical practice.

It was my first experience with MiDoctor urgent care. Everyone was friendly and professional. They were thorough and I was in an out quickly. I will go back if I need to.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! THE GIRL AT THE FIRST DESK IS A RACIST MISERABLE HUMAN BEING WITH ZERO EMPATHY. AND SHES SPANISH HERSELF LIKE ME BUT NOTHING BUT A RACIST! SHE HAS BLACK HAIR AND GLASSES! I WALKED IN AND SHE HAD AN ATTITUDE FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. I HAD AN URGENT VISIT AND I HAVE 2 TYPES OF Insurances that they clearly take Because it’s on the website and I confirmed it. She had to text her manager to ask if they accepted it. I have Worker’s Comp which they accept everywhere But out of all places, not here?!!! Something is not right. Then a Caucasian man walks out and she was so nice and Polite with him. It’s a shame because I work in the health care field my self and to see how it’s gone downhill it’s heartbreaking. I walked in being very nice and polite and got hit with an attitude. I feel 100% discriminated!!! STAY AWAYYY FROM THIS PLACE THEY DO NOT CARE!!!!

Ms. Laura Wisniewski was a true medical professional, furnishing me with on-the-spot advice that made sense and charting a course of treatment that I am looking forward to participating in.

Good, clean place. Dr Zhang was very understanding and answered all my questions patiently. My only complaint was the long wait time. Once I was checked in, the nurse came to check my vitals and said the Dr would be in shortly. I ended up waiting close to 40 mins for the doctor to come see me. It seemed like they were having a busy morning so I understand.

Very nice efficient crew. For a first time visit which was an emergency I was handled with care. Thanks again to the staff

When you cant get an appointment for 6 months with your network doctor, go here. Instant gratification and no emergency room!

I went there because I had Covid, I live out of town and was very concerned. The place was super nice and Dr. Lipovic was very caring...highly recommend this place

The doctors and providers are nice. But they never answer the call, I’m thinking about to switch my PCP at this point. SMH

This is the worst doctors office I have ever been to. They did not inform me that the doctor was not going to show up twice—making me go all that way for nothing “most people don’t care,” they said. They do not take feedback at all. The vm isnt set up so hope to call when they’re not busy, and when you reach them they put you on hold anyway. One Saturday, they made me wait 3 hours bc I was late even within the grace period. there is a delay or issue in prescription every .single . time. And now worse, which is finally pushing me over the edge, they have charged me $350 out of nowhere without even telling me about it upfront. I would never go to a visit if I knew they were going to charge me out of pocket. Dr cohen is very nice and the office has a great first impression. This office is good for quick visit NOT to set as PCP or long term patients.

While I’ve had some good visits there, I will never use them again. They ordered me a CT scan haphazardly without doing any bloodwork first, making me extremely panicked about what was wrong. They wrote the CT scan prescriptions wrong TWICE as they were missing pertinent information. I still don’t have accurate prescriptions for the scans because they won’t answer my emails. And then they wouldn’t provide health insurance authorization for the scans. So I can’t even get them in the end. But I consulted with my regular doctor who said it seems like an unnecessary next step. Just reckless.

One of the cleanest facilities and smoothest urgent care experiences maybe ever. I will definitely be back when needed!

Dr. Cohen and the team at MiDoctor were great. I was able to quickly and easily get an appointment for an emergency situation. They quickly diagnosed my issues, confirmed it with tests and set up a plan that resulted in a quick recovery.

Everyone including receptionist, doctor, and xray tech were attentive, thorough, and caring. They addressed all my concerns. I was seen and given results promptly. Highly recommend.

Visit was very efficient with almost no waiting, and I was quickly seen by Dr. Christina Zhang. She diagnosed my condition and wrote several prescriptions. Took less than 30 mins of my time total.

I came in about 10:45 am and was able to be seen by a doctor about 15-20 minutes after my arrival. The doctor was highly knowledgeable and was able to get me a prescription to clear up my chest and nasal congestion quickly at a local pharmacy. We were so impressed we returned with our grandson later that evening and the same resourceful doctor diagnosed and prescribed a medicine for him. We would highly recommend MiDoctor to anyone needing quick medical attention.

Best Doctor Down the Street - I have the finest doctors and specialists at Mount Sinai, Weill Cornell and in the UES. When I have the immediate problems or vaccination needs, MiDoctor is efficient and Dr. Zhang was kind, understanding and resolved my treatment immediately. Wonderful.

The Mi-Doctor midtown 9th Ave office is convenient for me as it is near my job. The primary waiting area is beautiful & bright. Front desk staff are friendly and fast. The nurses and docs are always kind and on spec. I am glad to have easy access to this office.

Have only in been in for Covid and flu shots. They were easy, quick, simple and no appt was needed (a real bonus). What more could you ask for?Very clean premises and the staff was courteous. The medical people also seemed knowledgeable and eager to help.I would definitely come back for a sick or emergency visit.

This clinic is legitimately the best medical experience I have ever had: from their streamlined online booking/reporting system to the professionalism of their doctors, nurses, and administrators. It is a pleasure to work with a clinic that opens on time, entertains walk-ins, and treats their patients with respect.They have multiple locations around the city but the reason this location gets a review is because of Egzona: the sweetest and most hard working person I have ever come across in a clinic setting. Keep up the great work Egzona, MiDoctor is lucky to have you!

Awful!!! Dr. Zhang has the concern of a misquote and does not follow through nor does she have a clue what any Insurance covers. I stupidly trusted her and BOUGHT $28.00 Vitamin D/ 10 gels total at the pharmacy across the street & took the RX she said had NO SIDE EFFECTS - but I got violently ill right after from the medicine! What a mess. She also promised my test results would be back the following day so I returned to have her advise me and read the results and - NOPE! NO results and she hardly remembered me from the previous day! I would not recommend any Urgent care as they are unreliable and limited and mostly ET doctors who are very compartmentalised. No way would I go back there.

I went to MiDoctor feeling unwell and had a suspicion it was Covid. It was my first visit there so I checked in, scanned my license, scanned my insurance card and filled out my other information. The process was smooth from start to finish and the staff was very professional, accommodating, and personable. I liked Dr. Palli very much. I will definitely go back there next time I need to.

I am so happy that I fell into this place by accident when I was headed to another care facility. The place is so appealing, so fresh and new, it sparkles. Even better is the staff. They are calm, gracious, efficient and make you feel as if you are visiting someones home. I had the added benefit of a follow up call. I dont even get that from my own physician. Ive gone several times. If you need medical care and your own physician is not available, this is the place to go.

Just ok, depends a lot on the doctor you get. My first doctor was unclear, abrupt, and socially inappropriate. My second was great. MAs and front desk are always great. They’ll ask you to book a virtual appointment after your visit just to have your results read to you - so they can bill your insurance twice. Seems very revenue driven, but otherwise solid care and was able to be seen quickly.

Pleasant space but hated the awful children’s tv program that was playing in the waiting room and the as impossible to get away from. The doctor was excellent and explained everything very coherently. Medications were timely called in to the pharmacy. I would definitely return.

The only place that really had online appointments available on ZocDoc last minute on Saturday morning (the rest of place have them “available” but then call you to say it was a mistake in the system). Everything was quick, staff was nice, PA was knowledgeable.

I stepped on a piece of glass that went deep inside my skin. I was bleeding like crazy, but Laura treated the wound, ensured me there was no glass still inside, patched me up and gave me a tetanus shot for good measure

Honestly, one of the best doctors visits I’ve had. Was finished with my general check up in 30 minutes, set up my next appt, was recommended a therapy group, and began Prep. Clean, everyone was nice easy to get to. A+

Booked appointment, taken at exact time. Actually saw two doctors, as one had radiology expertise to complement his colleague. Compassionate, professional, active listening, efficient and very clearly explained diagnosis and course of action.

Went to an appointment at this location. Employees were late to work and when asked about insurance coverage - they informed me my visit and tests would be covered under my plan, and that my costs would simply be the co-pay which turned out to be incorrect. The facility is potentially costing me hundreds of dollars because their employees couldn’t provide correct information about what insurance plans are accepted (something they are legally required to do).

Thanks to Urgent Care my 99 year old mother was seen immediately and given antibiotics to stop her infection. She got a PC test as well as a prescription to get a chest x-ray to rule out a pneumonia and covid.In a few days she is back on her feet ready to enjoy the holiday season with family and friends ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can’t thank Dr Palli and his team enough. I came in so sick and they treated me like family. This is the best clinic on the upper east. You can also book appointments in advance. It’s clean and fast and professional.

I have never been to such a nice urgent care in my life. The people staff doctors are very pleasant Egzona was so nice when i came in with a stomach pain took my info and signed me in, next thing i know not even 5min later i was being taken care of. If your in a rush and not feeling well this is the place to be.

When I walked in I greeted by the receptionist Destiny who greeted my husband and myself with a beautiful smile. She was very helpful and guided us both through the process of checking in. The nurse and doctor were just as wonderful and helpful in answering any questions we had. Great place to go when you are sick.

This practice was well-run and highly professional. Have been to other “urgent care” facilities and have had less-than-stellar experiences. Dr. Zhang was terrific. Highly recommend her.

I’ve been here a few times and had same day blood testing and timely results back as well as scheduling for same day imaging. These were separate occasions.The imaging showed appendicitis and I had surgery before further complications. They really practice as an urgent care—compared to an experience I had at another well known chain who set me up for a GI referral 2 months away with their affiliated hospital. No imaging- no earlier GI appointment??? They were not urgent about my care.

When CVS & Walgreens offered no appointments for 2 weeks for a Covid vaccine I called MiDoctor. They said “come on in- we have them!” The staff was so friendly, the office was clean and I was seen by a doctor. Will definitely go back for any future needs!

MAY 2024: Exemplary Care, Exemplary FacilityThis was the second time Ive been to MiDoctor (Third Ave./71 St.), the first having been a year and a half ago; yet again, I was extremely pleased with the EXCELLENT care and service I received in this wonderful medical facility.The physician whom I saw this time, Dr. Zachary Cohen, could not have been more attentive, knowledgable, clear, or caring. Dr. Cohen patiently took time to listen as well as explain, and there was no question in my mind that I was being treated by a physician who genuinely cared about my health and me as an individual. He even had me come for a follow-up appointment so he could check on me, as well as review subsequent test results with me. I was impressed, and appreciative.The clinic is immaculate, with a comfortable and soothing waiting area. MiDoctor clearly has gone out of its way to maximize comfort and meet the needs of patients.Last, but not least, every member of the staff with whom I had contact was very attentive, professional, and personable.In short, I highly recommend both Dr. Cohen and MiDoctor!-------------------DEC. 2022: My partner and I were SO impressed by the care and attention we received when we visited last evening for an urgent problem I was having. First, we were warmly welcomed and attentively assisted with check-in by Sejla. The location itself is immaculate, beautifully designed, actually cozy and quite comforting. It took merely a few minutes for us to be taken into an examination room, where we were immediately seen by the nurse, Tapati. Tapati was professional, very personable, and empathic. And only a few minutes later, Dr. Muneeb Khan came into the room. Dr. Khan was wonderful. Besides his professionalism and obvious knowledge, he was personable, caring, kind, and extremely empathic. He took my situation seriously and did everything necessary to help me. And help me he did. I cannot say enough good things about my experience at MiDoctor of the Upper East Side. Im grateful.

I booked an appointment here for a standard annual physical. They called me and confirmed my insurance and the appointment time. When I reached the office a few minutes before my appointment time, they were closed and wouldnt answer the phone. Very unprofessional for very simple scheduling and a waste of time.

This was the best experience at a PCP that I have ever had. The staff were lovely and Dr. Khan is so incredibly kind and helpful. For the first time I felt heard and validated, and I immediately recommended Dr. Khan to everyone I know!

Such a wonderful place!! After searching all day for someplace offering the bivalent booster, I was so happy to stumble upon MiDoctor. The staff I met up front (Myriam, Nicole, and Sejla) were so kind and positive and PA Ellen was wonderful and efficient. Would definitely recommend!!

The waiting room was very inviting and the receptionist Destiny was very friendly and helpful. I completed my registration with her help and was seen by a doctor for my Covid vaccine within five minutes. The facility is clean and very easy to navigate.

Dr. Lipovic was great. A very pleasant demeanor and straight to the point. Definitely hope to have this Dr. again if I ever need urgent care in the future.

Visited this new location for the skin issue, called reception in the morning to see if they can put me in any time slots they currently have, Destiny was v nice and helped to find the spot for me. Dr. Zhang was very professional and nice, even it’s not my first time visit. It was a good experience, but hopefully wont come back with other issues…..:)

I arrived on a Saturday morning just before the facility opened. The receptionist took my documents, swapped my nostrils and immediately processed the test. Within a few minutes I was told I didnt have COVID. Ill be receiving additional info tomorrow,Vert professional.

The doctor has Great bed side manner, funny , detailed oriented and through. Receptions provided great customer service. Place very clean.

Dr. Zhang was great! Dr. Zhang sent the prescription right away and sent me to see an eye doctor right away. She was amazing. I really appreciate to her.

Great friendly service, I needed some attention to a bout of inflammation in my foot. Doctor handled me quickly and efficiently and went the extra mile.

I came for a Covid 19 vaccine...and asked them to be sure that my covid test is negative. They quickly tested me...told me I was negative and gave me the shot. Wonderful service and lovely drs.

This is the best urgent care facility I’ve ever been to. Hardly any wait if any and the staff is just wonderful! They’re really organized, professional and kind. Highly recommend.

A super clean and modern office. The moment you walk in, the staff are super friendly and prepared to help. Destiny, the receptionist at front desk, and Dr. Palli were incredibly helpful and attentive to my medical needs.

Egzona at front desk was super nice. All staff was friendly, nurse/medical asst and physician super nice. I was the only person when I walked in. Place looks A+ definitely recommend. I went in with flu symptoms and was taken care of 👌🏼

I was in Manhattan, visiting my daughter during the holidays, and sliced my finger badly. Feeling very silly about having cut myself cooking and how crazy-much it hurt, I almost didnt go, but knew I needed help. Dr. Zhang, Sejla, and Camara were wonderful and so kind and reassuring. Dr. Zhang was especially thoughtful and took all the time needed to talk with me, reassure me, and deal with the wound. Additionally, the clinic is beautiful and looks more like a spa than a medical facility, which helps you feel more comfortable and relaxed when youre feeling anything but. Id give 10 stars if possible but five is the maximum option.

The nurse and doctor were very kind and answered all my questions and had a nice sense of humor my visit was lovely

Moving my daughter to NY from AZ is already a hard situation and so many places we went to were rude and unhelpful. But this place not only got us in right in and was so nice and helpful. I had a positive PCR result. No one told me that can happen after one had covid a month or more ago. It really messed me up until I spike to my Dr. I dont have covid, the test was misleading and led me to cancel work and made my day a mess.

Last month, while visiting NYC, one of our friends had a severe peanut allergy and started having difficulty breathing. We were near MIDoctor Health so ran inside looking for help. The staff responded immediately and were extremely professional, patient, and kind while treating our friend.

If you are looking for a local Doctor for travel medicine, this is a place to go. I looked at the other travel medicine clinics, which were extraordinarily expensive, and took a while to get me in. I walked in here and was seen right away. The MiDoctor doctor who saw me took the time to go to the CDC website to make sure I was getting everything that I needed and nothing that I didn’t. Thank you again!

Egzona & Seamus were amazing with me! I came in with an ear infection, and they were very patient with me. They have welcoming personalities and they answered all of my questions :).

We waited just a few minutes and I got my COVID booster and my husband got his cut finger checked and then a tetanus shot efficiently and easily.
