I started seeing Dr Sodoma about 7 years ago. At first, I really liked her as she was efficient and her office staff was competent and I never had to wait. I referred 3 friends to her, all who became her patients. Unfortunately, cracks started to show when I needed her to do more than just a quick Pap smear. First, I had her implant an IUD and during insertion she was having trouble getting it in. I was writhing in pain and she told me that it wasn’t as bad as I was making it out to be. She was not empathetic and did not adjust her approach, continuing to cause pain while trying to get my cervix to open. Eventually she was successful, but I left the office in tears and embarrassed that I was a wimp when it came to pain. After that, I continued to have pain and saw her periodically over the next 3 years hoping to find answers. Each time she was dismissive and while she did order some tests, I never got a follow up other than a voicemail that stated “everything looks normal.” What finally convinced me that it wasn’t just me, was talking to the friends I had referred to her and hearing their own stories. 2 of my friends were minorities (like myself) and the other was Caucasian. The Caucasian friend had a wonderful experience - Dr Sodoma troubleshooted her issues and the doctor had a lot of empathy and problem solving skills with her. The other two (minority) friends had terrible experiences in which she dismissed their problems, was rushed and rude. In one case she did a procedure without any of the numbing or pain control that typically is used. To be clear, Dr Sodoma never made any racially related comments, but her actions seemed to speak loudly. I finally found a new doctor last month. I really tried to give her the benefit of the doubt for 3 years, but enough is enough.

Dr. Sodoma and her staff are absolutely AMAZING! Ive been a patient of Dr. Sodomas for 24 years. She delivered both my babies and has been my GYN since. Shes patient, kind, and knowledgeable. I had continous bleeding for almost a year after I had my first child. She did everything she could to figure out my issue and because of her due diligence she was able to resolve my bleeding. Her MA and Nurse are wonderful! Her MA had been with her for many years, too. Which shows you how great of a person Dr. Sodoma is. Her nurse handeld my daughter (and myself) so well. Not only professional but you can feel her compassion. Dr. Sodomas staff is a reflection of her. The lovely ladies in the front make you feel as if youre friends with them. They welcome you with open arms. They are all great! Finding a great specialist is very rare. My daughter is now a patient of hers and I know shes in great hands.

Dr. Sodoma and her staff are so professional and genuinely kind and caring. They are extremely experienced and offer many services to help with issues of concern. A special shout out to Haley, her calm manner puts people at ease and her expertise is very clear. I highly recommend Dr. Sodoma’s office for any of the treatments offered.

I am so very pleased to have found Life Care for Women. Everyone involved in my appointments has been kind and caring. Their vision in helping people achieve personal goals is very much appreciated. I highly recommend Life Care for Women and Dr. Sodoma. I plan on many future visits and am looking forward to seeing the results.

I do not recommend for actual gynecological care. If you want hormone pellets without follow-up testing, this is the place to go.I was originally referred by my doctor for hormone replacement therapy and at first I was thrilled with the ease of getting hormone pellets, but as time went on, it became clear she is putting dollars over patient care. I did not realize the ramifications of the lack of continuous testing of hormone levels until I had complications. My appointments were so rushed that my questions were barely answered, and the concerns I did raise were responded to in a gaslighting fashion, making me question my concerns as frivolous. There was no time for a conversation. I was often still trying to ask questions as she left the room. The result was that my hormones ended up so out of balance that I needed a D&C (by a different doctor) to correct the damage from too much estrogen, and a hysterectomy is still possible. For basic gynecological care, I did not appreciate the rushed pap. Couldnt even feel the check of ovaries. The breast exam was no more than a tiny tap around nipples. She always wants to do an unnecessary rectal exam. I was able to give one poor appointment a pass as a possible bad day, but the next annual appointment was the same. Hindsight being 20/20, there were many red flags, and I shouldve changed doctors much sooner.

Went in to have the O-shot done today by dr sodoma and here team and they were amazing. I have a huge fear of needles but they made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire thing. So many drs. have told me that there wasn’t anything they could do about my loss of sensation after a previous surgery, but when I saw her she was so sweet/patient and understanding. After listening to my laundry list of issues she gave me not just one but a list of things we could try and that in itself was so healing just knowing there was options and someone willing to help. The procedure itself was quick and painless. I’m feeling hopeful for the first time in a long time and can’t wait for the results! Would highly recommend them!!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Sodoma for over a year now and my experience has continually gotten worse.Dr. Sodoma doesn’t take my concerns seriously and our appointments always seem rushed. There are never questions or inquiries about what’s going on or discussions towards my options. I always leave my appointment feeling frustrated and rushed and as if she only cares about receiving the payment vs making sure my concerns are addressed. The way she addresses any concerns I have makes me feel as though she’s gaslighting and downplaying any concerns I have.I received Nexplanon through Dr Sodoma and during the initial consult she said I’d be receiving an injection for pain first and then nexplanon would be inserted into my arm. The day of I arrived and received no pain relief, she just came into the room and immediately inserted it and then made a remark of “see that wasn’t so painful”. She did not ask me how I was doing or even remember the pain relief.The office staff is lovely but communication seems to be poor. Recently I had to call the office to ensure I still had an appointment as I received no reminder through text or email about my upcoming appointment even though I had in the past. They also are moving offices soon and I received no update about that either. I do, however, continue to receive announcements and reminders about billing.I am astounded she has so many good reviews with her lack of empathy towards her clientele. I have family and friends who also go to her and are making the switch because they are experiencing similar treatment. Very disappointing.

I’m just floored by some of the drs in this city. My daughter has been suffering with horrible periods, bad pain, hormone issues and just all over cramping etc. ever since she got off birth control. Her and her husband want to have a baby in the next year or two so she doesn’t want to stay on the pill at all. She went to see Dr. Linda Sodoma and came out crying because of the lack of empathy and just a ‘I don’t care’ attitude towards her issues from this Dr. The way she spoke to her was something I would not have expected. Especially being a woman herself.If you’re going to take the responsibility of being a Dr. at least pretend to have some understanding qualities for the sake of your patients. My daughter is very young and I want others to know how she was treated here. I would never have suggested this Dr to her had I known.

I seeked out a new gyno when I was looking for help with my rapid weight gain and issues with PMDD. I live in a tiny town and traveled 3hrs to see her only to feel like she didn’t take me seriously whatsoever or even thought I actually had PMDD. The only thing good she helped with was find out my thyroid was messed up with blood work and I had to see an endocrinologist to get meds for it which finally put an end to the rapid weight gain after just giving birth. She didn’t help me with the PMDD. She seems more interested in hormone replacement therapy or any other type of services that she offered. And then after a couple of appointments I go in and for my last one (that I didn’t know was going to be my last one) when I go to leave they tell me I need to find another doctor cause they obviously can’t help me!? I was pissed!! I even called and asked if they help treat PMDD and they said oh yes we do. Ya, right!?! She literally did nothing and kept telling me it’s all in my head or that I had an imbalance. Which wasn’t the case other than my thyroid. That only got messed up after birth and ended up finally correcting its self 18m postpartum. I’ve suffered with PMDD for 15yrs prior and was looking for help and she obviously didn’t want to. So if your looking for just hormone replacement therapy or want some sort of other body sculpting then ok sure go here. You need actual help from a gynecologist go elsewhere. Cause I literally left crying after they would no longer see me cause I didn’t want hormones or anything else they offer to do to your body for appearance. 🤦🏻‍♀️😩

If it is your first time having a well womens check I wouldnt choose Life Care for Women. The appointment was rushed and Dr. Sodoma didnt seem like she had more than two minutes to sit and go over any type of history or any questions. While completing the pap and cervical exam she didnt explain what she was doing while doing it. She didnt ask if there was any type of discomfort or anything. Quickly did the exam and left the room. Im sure a quick in-and-out appointment for someone who has had their yearly check often done is great, but for a first-timer, it was disappointing. For anyones first time, a doctor should be attentive, ask questions, and explain what is going on. I found this office and Dr. Sodoma by looking online, and it was my mistake that I didnt take the time to scroll through more than the first few reviews. READ as many reviews as you can, she has upset and made multiple patients uncomfortable for many different reasons. Will not be returning here.

Concerning carelessness:The soundproofing is so poor that you can hear every word of private conversation. Also, she endorses getting a shot of Gardasil that will prevent cervical cancer... a pharmaceutical that was sued into banishment for that exact false claim.She seems nice enough, but trust was compromised today.Update: apparently, their billing department likes to try and double-dip by taking my cash and then attempting to charge my medicaid for an appointment they shouldnt even be aware of... until now that youve compromised my privacy. Thats how you lose the ability to charge medicaid at all. I sure hope this gets resolved... for your sakes. Ill file a complaint.

The staff is extremely sweet and knowledgeable with a wide variety of services - Dr. Sodoma and her team have my loyalty!

Fabulous experience!! Doctor Linda Sodoma is so proactive with solutions from menopause and bioidentical hormone replacement, to curing Utis, yeast infections, and even a spa with every type of skin/body rejuvenation!!

Staff upfront friendly. Even better than that was the Dr and her assistants were super friendly, and I had a great experience for my first and second visit. Then, after HRT pellet implant my health declined when my testosterone went from normal 22 to 269 within a month. I was led to believe the HRT pellet was created for my specific needs. Not true! I experienced significant concerning issues and side effects that took months to go away, and I never went back.

Dr. Sonoma and her staff are a wonderful team for womens health care!! All are friendly, courteous and happy to help you.

I was seen promptly and the staff was friendly and answered all of my questions. The office decor was nice too. I highly recommend based in my experience.

I’ve gone to the office for a few years now and the experience is always hit or miss. Specifically with the staff. After being in a car accident, and not having the opportunity to schedule because of this life event- I was in a bind with rx refills. Completely my responsibility and I acknowledged and apologized for this. I called to book at my soonest, before the medication ran out. I was greeted with someone that must have been having a less than good day. I get it, I’ve definitely been there myself being a medical assistant previously. However when attempting to find common ground I was treated rudely, dismissed, and scoffed at over the phone. My intentions were not to cultivate an escalated environment at 9am on a Monday, but it seemed to be the intent of the medical assistant. I simply wanted to verify if I could take partnership with the doctor to get a short- temporary fill of the medication I take to assist with my cysts until I could get in to see Dr. Sodoma. I felt the conversation was escalated by the medical assistant to a place that has a patient was extremely inappropriate, uncaring, and uncalled for. I realize we all have personal things going on in our lives but it should never be thrown in a strangers face in that manner. It was extremely unprofessional and held no discretion or respect for the doctors personal life. The medical assistant was very clearly going through a tough time herself, I hope she gets better soon.To follow up, there was absolutely no “mutual understanding” that my medication would be filled. When I asked if this accommodation could potentially be made she verbatim said “I don’t know. That’s not a decision for me to make. I’m just the messenger. I’ll message the doctor and you’ll just have to wait and see if she wants to do that for you.” And when I said “Okay.. so if she can’t fill them will I be informed? Or what would my options be then?” She scoffed and stated “coming in sooner would be your option.” There was no respect, kindness, or empathy. I did opt to see another provider. I appreciate the offer of a conversation, but it’s not worth me being put in another uncomfortable situation once again by this office.

Amazing experiences here. The whole staff is very nice. Dr. Sodoma is such a great listener and doesn’t rush the appointment. They offer innovative laser and aesthetic services. Highly recommend!

Dr.Sodoma is the best doctor I have ever met. Herself and her staff are absolutely fantastic. Great bedside manner. I brag about her all the time. They are more than just medical personnel. They make you feel like part of their family. Great atmosphere and always such a warm welcome when you walk into the office.

Every single appointment with Dr. Sodoma is perfect! The front office staff is always friendly and professional. The nursing staff are so very kind. I have always been seen on time and never have to wait in the exam room longer than five minutes, which is more than reasonable. If you are past your child bearing years and entering the blessed season of menopause, Life Care for Women is the best place! LOVE!!!

Dr. Sodoma and staff have been amazing! I have seen her for only a few months, but she has been thorough and quick to handle my medical issue and with surgery next Im sure a lot of my issues will be resolved. She and her staff have made me feel like family, and Ive just started with her office a few months ago. I will go to her and refer her to all my friends and family as long as I am around to do so!

Do not settle! If it feels wrong in a doctor’s office, it is wrong! If you need a basic gynecologist or skin care, this place is probably fine. However, if you have any needs that require surgical intervention, I would not recommend Dr. Sodoma or her office. I was actually told, “I know patients like you and I know what you need.” In actuality, I was offered an extremely invasive abdominal surgery and was told by Dr. Sodoma that it “would be hard for her”. My trust was utterly broken and I was eventually able to find a skilled surgeon who could do the surgery with minimally invasive techniques. It was so dehumanizing and baffling. I was spoken to rudely by several office personnel due to my insurance being complicated and demanded payment up front. I was pressured to book the surgery and told I needed to make non-refundable down payments immediately to hold my place. I was also requested to submit to extremely expensive tests including an MRI without explanation why, the answer being, “This is standard procedure, we discussed this in your surgical consult. It’s in your packet.” Absolutely it was not, there was no paperwork outlining the need for additional tests at all! Once I moved to another more experienced surgeon, they could not fathom why I’d have needed a MRI for my procedure. The care and empathy for someone receiving tough surgery news was non-existent. This office is all business and about the money without the doctor’s skill to back it up. If you need surgery, please skip this office and keep looking for a skilled gynecological surgeon who will kindly and wisely walk you through your process.

I have been going here for 10 years now. I recommend all of my friends and family to this office. They have always taken great care of me. Blanca is an amazing person. She always remembers me and I feel like she genuinely cares about everyone. Dr. Sodoma has been my doctor since I started going to this office and now I have at least 3 friends/family that see her as well. She took care of me while pregnant and she delivered my daughter. She is caring, honest, and sincere and very easy to talk to. She makes me feel very comfortable and I can’t thank her enough for the excellent care she has provided!

Dr. Sodoma was so nice, helpful and receptive to my concerns. She explained things well and answered questions without making me feel rushed. The front and back staff was also friendly and engaging and I was taken promptly at my appointment time. Very good experience.

I have been seeing Dr. Sodoma for probably more than 10 years now, and have referred her to several friends. The people in this establishment are all very warm and friendly. Wait time is very short. Dr. Sodoma is kind, patient, professional, and has answers, solutions and alternatives to all your issues. What I love about her is that she listens and hears you. So if you need a gynecologist like this, you should just make that appointment.

Dr Sodoma is HANDS DOWN the best gynecologist I have ever seen. Have been with the practice for over 4 years now and have been seen for checkups, an endometriosis-like condition, birth control and hormonal stuff, and even a cyst removal surgery. She and her entire team are incredibly caring, patient, and helpful. Every experience with them has been amazing!

Had a great first impression. The staff is super nice, DR Sodoma is very informative, thorough and open to discuss my issues. I was nervous switching to a new womans doctor but so glad I did.

Dr. Sodoma was my 2nd opinion and now my first choice moving forward. I was disheartened when I first heard of my situation and a patient recommended I see her doctor-Sodoma. My consult with her was 180 degrees from what I was told from the previous doctor.Sodoma took lead on my operation and the other doctors were excited to work with her postop which felt like further validation that I had chosen the right doctor for my care. A 20 year+ situation is now resolved and I have very little scarring. My body is rejuvenated and I can participate in life more fully.

Dr. Sodoma and staff were super friendly, never made me feel uncomfortable. She was really knowledgeable and understood my needs. Her office offers some exciting procedures I have not seen in any other doctors office. I would recommend her to all family and friends. The gowns are cloth, another plus for me! I have to share my happy story with everyone about Dr. Linda Sodoma. I started seeing her October 2022 to discuss my female issues. The moment she walked in the examination room I felt a vibe that I knew right then she was the right doctor for me. She was humble nice and caring, she took the time to listen and answer the questions I asked on every visit, it only got better and better and she always made me comfortable. Fast forward to 12/06/22 to my surgery day. God, know I was scared and most definitely afraid of going under, but once my angel walked in ( Dr. Sodoma ) I knew I was gonna be okay and she reassures me. My mom has always told me growing up there always an angel that watching high and low places, in other words high meaning in heaven where she is now and low meaning on earth meaning Dr. Sodoma. I can’t forget to salute her team in her office because they were fabulous on every visit. Post Op see God will send good people your way when asked and needed and today I needed everything good to come my way to get thur this. Post Op I couldn’t ask for a better nurse. Nurse Tanner at Banner Baybrook in Gilbert he helped out more than he will ever know, he kept me calm when it came to getting my IV started, I had told him my veins were small and that it was always hard for anyone who tried to stick me it would be hard so he went and got the ultra sound machine and bang he got it on the first try, and he answered all my questions so thank you Tanner. Next came the recovery room nurse Charm always made sure I was okay when I would wake up or go back to sleep, everytime my eyes opened she was right there feeding me ice chips until the next time I woke up. Thank you nurse Charm. Last but not least nurse Genny, words can’t express how great she was handing me in my room. I didn’t have to ring for nothing because she was always there like she knew my body also when it was time for me to void along with everything else she was as there, so thank you nurse Genny. God really do answer prayers and today all mine were met. I love Dr Sodoma! I just got my 3rd pellet. She opened my eyes to things I was concerned & confused about. Im 57 and had a hysterectomy at 53, which if I had met her sooner, maybe I wouldnt have made that choice. She has awesome bed side manners. She is a doctor you can talk to and will listen.

Dr. Sodoma told me the hormone pellets would be life changing for me and she was absolutely right! In the past I tried several different hormone replacements with very little relief before seeing Dr. Sodoma. That was the best thing I have ever done for myself!! Dr. Sodoma is very knowledgeable.Seeing Dr. Sodoma is worth money. I am so glad to be feeling back to myself and feeling young again!!!

After a few Doctor experiences that were marginal at best, its refreshing to have one that was excellent on all fronts. The new patient paperwork was easily accessible online. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The doctor was personable, prompt and addressed all my questions. Im very happy to have found Dr. Sodoma.

I loved the staff and Dr. Sodoma! I want my tubes tied and she’s the first doctor in a long time to not question my decision. I went in thinking I was going to need a shpeel and to beg you if needed. There was no need! She did my pap in the best way possible, just get it done. No fluff. She’s calm, comforting, and direct. I’m so glad I have found this office.

Have been a few times now for medical treatments. Dr Sodoma is direct, efficient and thorough but still still listened to my concerns attentively.

I had a great experience. Dr. Sodoma really listened to my concerns and did whatever she could to ensure that I recieved the care and surgery that I desperately needed and had been trying to get done for years. Ive seen many different OB/gyns and Dr. Sodoma is by far the most thorough, personable and caring that Ive encountered so far.

Dr Linda Sodoma is awesome. I have never felt so comfortable with any doctor I have had before. She is very personable and caring. She seems to care for her patients individually rather than as a group. She always remembers you no matter how much time goes by between visits to her office.

Read through the reviews, and you will know that this Doctor and her staff, are where you want to go. Dr Sonoma couldnt be any nicer, or more compassionate, and forthcoming about treatment options, and her staff is great over the phone and in person. Dr. Sodoma has always been a wonderful professional, yet personable doctor. When I first went to her, I was going in for a second opinion on having issues with conceiving over 18 years ago. Within a few months of first seeing her, I became pregnant. She has delivered all 3 of my boys. I will continue to see her as my gynecologist. Dr. Sodoma performed a hysterectomy on me and I have had no issues.

I have been going to Dr Sodoma for 10 years. She has great care and candor. She is direct and to the point which is refreshing as you always know what the true outcome is and expectations are, good or bad. She cares for her patients and takes time to answer any questions that you have.

Dr. Sodoma and her staff are amazing. While I don’t LOVE going to have my annual exam, Dr. Sodoma and her staff make me so comfortable that it’s easy to not feel anxious. She’s easy-going and just easy to talk to. I highly recommend her.

I have been with Dr Sodoma’s office and care for 20 years now and have always felt like it’s been way more than Dr/pt but friends/family. She and her nurses and staff are really professional and kind. I recommend Dr Sodoma to everyone I know all the time! Dr Sodoma is amazing. She always listens to concerns. So happy she delivered my last child 14 years ago. The front office and nurses are all top notch and very kind at every visit. Enjoying the Ensculpt sessions. They explained the process and keep checking in.

Happy Skin by Hayley - I got my first ever facial with Hayley R. today. I just got the mini facial since I didnt know how my skin was going to react. The space she was in was very relaxing. She explained everything she was going to do and everything she was using. She ensured you were comfortable throughout the entire facial. She was very professional and made sure everything was cleaned, sanitized and reset for each of her patients. I enjoyed the experience so much that I booked a full facial with her for next month! I would recommend her!

Absolutely love Dr. Sodoma & her entire staff! They are strictly about providing top notch wellness care for females. It’s refreshing to have a on the ball female doctor that can relate to women’s issues. Dr Sodoma is always thinking outside the box, never stale on old ways of doing something.

She went out of her way to get me in for immediate attention due to a large & painful cyst (as a new patient!) Other Drs said it was several months out because I would be a new patient. Within 2 days she removed it. Excellent Dr explains everything to you and very friendly. Knows you as a person. Love the staff they are GREAT!Very thankful to have Dr. Sodoma treating me! I highly recommend her!

Dr. Sodema is excellent. She was not only attentive to my concerns, but during my biopsy, she gave me suggestions for being more comfortable through the procedure. I did not experience pain at all, just some discomfort. She indicated that there there is no need for surgery, and the resolution is easy with long-term benefits. I absolutely LOVE DR.Sodoma...I have been with her for years and always recommend friends and family. She is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and the staff always makes me feel welcomed. I am 100% satisfied.

Danger!!! Beware!!!! Dr Sodoma will use unnecessarily expensive devices without explaining the financial implications to you and lie about it!!!!!I started seeing dr sodoma after getting referred by my primary care doctor. Everything was fine and I had a good experience until it was time to take out my IUD. Quick background, I have removed and inserted an IUD at a previous Dr office and didnt have to use any special devices besides an ultrasound. Fast forward 3 years later, I scheduled an appointment with sodomas office to remove my IUD. I get to my appointment and they had me disrobe and on the table. Sodoma walks in with a nurse and an instrument she briefly explains helps her take out the IUD because she doesnt like to do it blindly. She further explains why do it blindly and risk perforation if we have the technology . That was it. There was no talk of how expensive this method would be!If she had informed me, I would have opted for her to remove it using an ultrasound (which they have in their office). Instead she made the sole decision to use a Hysteroscope and charged my insurance close to $3000 for a Biopsy of which I was responsible for paying 55% out of pocket. If she had told me the cost upfront, I would have opted for a far less expensive way to remove my IUD. She claims she had to use the device because my strings werent visible. Understood, maybe I would have opted for her method knowing the facts but making the decision without sharing the financial implications is irresponsible and completely erodes my trust in her as a physician.Anyway Ive learned my lesson and will question everything a doctor suggests whether or not Im already in a hospital gown on the table!After I found out my bill, I called her office and spoke with the manager who tells me Dr Sodoma said she explained the financial implementation to me at the time of the procedure.THIS WAS A LIE!!!!! I will definitely not return.

I was initially impressed with Dr. Sodoma, however, Im glad I got a second opinion before proceeding with her practice because she had outdated recommendations that didnt fit my health needs. I still give her two stars because she is nice and makes you feel comfortable, and her front office staff are very friendly.However, Im glad I did my own outside research and went to a different gynecologist for a consult and plan of care. It felt like Dr. Sodoma was trying to bill my insurance (in addition to a quite hefty out of pocket cost) for a procedure I didnt actually need or qualify for. I also did not like her nurse or medical assistant (whatever theyre called). She was condescending and made me feel ridiculous in a way. She also messed up my bloodwork paperwork with another patient, so I had to return to the practice to get my correct paperwork. Very annoying and a breach of client confidentiality.

I could not have had a better experience at Life Care for Women. Dr. Sodoma was so kind, comforting, and respectful. I felt very well cared for from the beginning of my appointment to the end. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER SERVICES!!!

Dr.Sodoma seen me quickly when I experienced a medical emergency after years of not being seen in her office. Her staff quickly got all my medical records transferred over. She made me feel comfortable and addressed all my concerns. I am now back to feeling better thanks to Dr.Sodoma.

I have to share my experience with Dr. Sodoma. I feel this is a risk because Im afraid this could jeopardize the prescription refill Im due for but others need to know my experience.AN UPDATE:I have now seen a new doctor that does both hormone replacement treatments AND gender transition treatments. Turns out Dr. Sodoma HAD ME ON TRANSITION LEVEL DOSES. the exact same dose trans men take to transition! I would have started transitioning before long. This woman does not understand hormones.Please please please listen to the bad reviews for this doctor.I went in to get help with what I had already assumed was a hormone issue. Ive been dealing with symptoms for nearly 10 years but no one would bother checking my hormones. I saw on the website that she did HRT related services and decided to try yet again. Keep in mind Ive been dismissed by many doctors for this already. Ive been told its just stress, lose weight, workout, have glass of wine, relax etc. I have zero libido, awful mood swings, horrid periods etc. Diet and exercise did not work. No one would listen.Dr. Sodoma told me she had the answer. Hormone pellets. Would solve all my problems with NO ADVERSE EFFECTS. No insurance will cover it and its nearly $400 every 3 months. Yea Im poor that not an option.At the point she knew i didnt have money i could tell she couldnt me out of her office fast enough.I asked about a cheaper option.Weekly self administered intramuscular injections. Sure lets try that.She fired off a prescription THEN sent me for blood work and that was it, visit over.No instructions at all about how to do these injections myself. Wouldnt tell me what to expect from them. Claimed zero side effects. Youll feel awesome. That was it.At this point I already knew I didnt trust her and was going to finding another doctor when i had a chance.Fast forward a couple weeks, I taught myself how to do these injections. Taught myself about the hormone i was using. Found out what to watch for and looked it her pellets more. A bit of messaging back and forth with her, questions about my case and what i was going through because it WAS NOT initially what i expected. I panicked thinking once again i failed to get this issue fixed. I was scared.She claimed injections (same T thats successfully used for gender transition mind you) are only 25% effective and I need the pellets. After looking into them, I dont want them.At that point she said I need a psych eval. No hormone will effect emotional state.That is just incorrect AND mood swings are a COMMON side effect. But no, Im just crazy. She dropped me from her care after half a dozen messages back and forth, half of hers being copy paste replies. Despite me finally actually feeling better because the hormones are settling and Im leveling out over time. Because thats actually how this works.My chart is also incorrect. She has symptoms listed that I have never had. She has me as married, never have been. Diagnosis that I was never told.I was scared and was given zero information about my case, my treatment, my condition nothing.Modern day hysteria doctor. Only wants your money. Not much more than a sales person for companies.If you do not have money, do not see this doctor.If you want to be treated like a patient, not a customer, du not see this doctor.If you want all the information about your treatment or condition, do not see this doctor.If you want to be able to come to your doctor with questions or concerns, do not see this doctor.If you are not the type to mindlessly accept treatment without asking why, do not see this doctor.Unprofessional. Greedy. Dismissive. Does not actually care if you feel better. Lied about side effects, everything has side effect risks, parroted company selling points as fact, they arent.I had to teach myself how to do IM injections, what my medication was and did, what types of options I had, pros and cons of each option.She dropped me from her care because Im not a cash cow like her other customers and I advocate for myself.

Dr. Sodoma and her staff are truly kind and compassionate. My surgery went well and everyone at the hospital was kind too. Im currently in recovery and taking it easy. My shoulders hurt more than anything, but that was just the day of and are fine now. I most definitely recommend a consultation with Dr. Sodoma if you are thinking of a Laparoscopic Tubal Ligation.

My first impression was great but when I did not agree with what she recommended and asked for other options she laughed at me and told me I must not be in that much pain. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a Dr and I have no idea how she has such high reviews. She did not listen to any of my concerns and basically made me feel stupid. I found another doctor who actually listened to me and was able to provide options that actually helped.

As a very nervous, sensitive, and anxious person, I couldn’t be more satisfied with Dr. Sodoma and the rest of the staff here! They make my visits as comfortable as possible. Dr. Sodoma comes off as sincerely kind, caring, and gentle.

Staff was friendly and the office was clean but I waited over an hour and a half without being seen. I scheduled my appointment 2 months in advance and showed up 20 min early for paperwork. Multiple other clients came in and left while I sat there. I wasn’t updated on why it was taking so long and ultimately left. Disappointing first time experience.

The waiting room only had me in it and everyone was required to wear a mask. It was a quick appointment and the front desk could not have been better. I found Dr Sodoma over 20yrs ago. She delivered all 3 of my children. Her and the staff have been amazing over the years. She always addresses my concerns and goes above and beyond in treatment and care.

Based on all the sterling reviews, I came here for a second opinion. Dr. Sodoma was pleasant enough but she didnt address any of my concerns or answer any of my questions. Once she learned about a pre-existing condition of mine (that Ive had for 12 years), that became her only focus. I tried being vocal with her, letting her know that my pre-existing condition was not the reason for my appointment and that I had other issues going on that I needed answers for. My words fell on deaf ears and she only continued to circle back to my pre-existing condition. Once my appointment ended, I left feeling frustrated and having no new information or answers for what was going on with me. Sadly, I would not recommend this office.

From the front office staff to the Dr, I was treated with kindness and respect. I have become very cautious about medical professionals over the previous few years, but this Dr immediately put me at ease by her professionalism, expertise, and knowledge. I highly recommend this facility.

Dr. Sodoma takes the time to listen/figure out what’s going on with you. I switched to her as my gyno after mine left the state and I have felt comfortable in her care since day 1.

Avoid this doctor at all costs. When I scheduled the appointment I specifically asked for the amount and services to be rendered. The receptionist quoted for the doctors appointment and full exam, the charge would be $380. I went in and a was discriminated against as I was considered a cash pay without insurance. I was refused service when I came face-to-face with the doctor. She informed me I need a mammogram in hand before they would treat me. She asked if I still wanted the full exam and I asked if that was included in this visit or was it additional charge. She said the full exam was included and I said then yea. She then denied my request and said since I am a cash paying customer and they would need to source out, there would be additional charges so decided against providing any services. But I was still charged for the visit. I asked if I would be charged when I came back with the mammogram and she said yes. She is a con artist taking advantage of innocent people that do not have insurance. I was discriminated against because I don’t have insurance after waiting two months for this appointment. I will be reporting this to the Board of Health for discriminating practices.

Dr Sodoma always seem to know her patients personally. She feels more like a friend than your doctor. Never a long wait and when calling to schedule an appointment, they accommodate your schedule.

This was a second opinion for primary ovarian insufficiency and a huge waste of money. She clearly doesnt understand or know what the disease is or how it works and wouldnt listen to me. If youre wanting FDA/insurance approved HRT or you have a rare condition, I highly do not recommend this doctor. Super disappointed.

This office is terrible. I came to Dr.Sodoma while I was trying to get pregnant. I spent about 8 months going to her while I was trying to conceive. Just one month short of a year of trying to get pregnant she told me she could no longer be my doctor and to not come back to her until I was pregnant. Then she told me she couldn’t help me anymore and sent me to an IVF clinic. All she wanted to talk about when I went in was surgery for my endometriosis which I had only gotten a year prior. She had no bedside manner, and after two blood tests and a full 2 months without a period her nurse (Haley) couldn’t confirm my pregnancy. The answer I got was “maybe”. I confirmed it myself today with an at home pregnancy test from Walmart. Even after the vague answer I got, no one from her office suggested I come in for an ultrasound. Mind you I’m 7 weeks pregnant. They don’t care and frankly they’re not very competent either. Would not recommend.
