I had an excellent experience at this clinic. The facility was spotless and very welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, guiding me through the application process with ease. The doctor was outstanding—she took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the procedure. The level of care and kindness truly exceeded my expectations. Thank you for providing such a positive and professional experience!

I wish I wouldve gotten the name of the girl who took my blood. I didnt even feel it! Wish there were more like her out there! The office was immaculate. The wait time was minimal, though I did make an appointment. Everyone in the office was thorough, professional and accommodating. I even was offered a snack and juice after my appointment! I would definitely come back if I needed to be seen!

The nurses here look like they dont like doing their job , so rude , negative energy, not welcoming at ALL! Horrible service . The doctor was nice but the staff.....

*2024 november*MA doing the rapid HIV testing was not HIV counseling certified like I had to be as a MA and LVN when i worked at radiant health center(uscf HIV and HCV certified). We handle mostly infectious diseases medicine at that office and we all had to properly teach the patient about HIV window period, rapid vs serum draw window period, and prep. We all had to get certified just to do the alere rapid HIV and oroquik rapid HCV. And she didnt ask me or tell me when she was going to do the stick, which I have always done with my patients. I also had to get drawn twice which no patient wants, they dont automatically do the 4th gen serum draw for HIV like we were always taught to automatically do in ID clinic. MA also left tourniquet on too long, and removed the needle with tourniquet still on which is a no no.The PA was great with my exam , quick diagnosis and medication. My only peev really is that not all MAs are as well trained and educated as we were in ID medicine. The better educated the MAs are, the more the patients will feel like they are in good hands. I will be going back to radiant health for my testing from now on.**2021 Update**Since my original review I recently came out as non binary and went on testosterone therapy. When I was waiting for my new insurance to become active I would come here for testing and UTI treatment. The staff is amazing when it comes to pronouns and does an amazing job using neutral language would highly reccomend for LGBTQ patients.**2017**I came here when my OBGYN at hoag for whatever reason wouldnt place my IUD and it wasnt for any legitimate medical reason such as lack of uterine space (can cause expelling or uterine peforation), but because I hadnt had a child - nor did I ever want to.So, after doing my research I learned a NP/PA/nurse midwife could place an IUD and it didnt matter if I had kids or not, as long as there was enough space during the measuring process. I came here when I was at my witts end and debbie placed my IUD. I prepped with 800 mg of ibuprofen and it was a very quick process. Of course any IUD insertion can have some cramping and initial pain but she was so quick and considerate.

Ive come to planned parenthood for about a month for my primary care provider with melody health. Dr. Majdi is an extremely attentive provider that has referred me to all the specialists needed to get to the bottom of some irregular blood labs. Honestly these issues and signs have been there forever, she was the only provider with medical that put two and two together. She does really care, and consistently schedules follow ups. Its easy to get an appointment. The wait times can be up to 2 hours sometimes which is the only downside; but overall worth it to me.

Ive been coming here for YEARS since it was on 19th street! Ive always been treated kindly & with respect. The staff is always friendly in person & over the phone. ♥️Ive had PP & Melody Womens Health as my primary care doctors and have gone to them for everything from back pain, chest pain, Asthma, regular check-ups, mental health, & of course birth control & family planning. & Have talked to different nurses and doctors each time, so Im pretty surprised to see all the negative comments here. Not once have I felt as if they didnt care about my experience with them! & Yes theyve been busier because of the pandemic, but compared to other medical facilities they are pretty quick. The lady helping me apologized for the long hold, but i didnt wait longer than about 2 minutes!Really taking the negative comments with a grain of salt & hoping theyre not some people falsely trying to paint PP in a bad light. PP is a wonderful resource for all around medical needs!

Came here with my wife and both she and I were told that I could not be in the room with her to hear if she was pregnant. Absolutely do not take your girlfriend or wife here if you actually want to be involved with your future child or be supportive of your partner.

Was treated with respect. I was the only male patient but was treated well. It was a private, clean and neat office. My checkup was kind of expensive since I didnt have insurance and was not a California resident. However, I was given good professional service and my checkup met my needs. I arrived 30 minutes early and still wasnt seen until 10+min after my appointment time. Other than being there for quite a bit of time for a regular sexual health screening I recommend this Planned Parenthood and the organization in general for a woman. It would help to include at least one picture of a guy in the interior office marketing photos or one commerical for male sexual health on the office TV to be more inclusive of the other genders.

I came to get the pill Ella was attended my Dr.T & a lady that was pregnant I wish I would have gotten her name but nevertheless they were so nice & I was so amazed at how fast they gave me the pill & I barely even waited I love their service here. it looks like they love what they do unlike the location in 17th st where they took about 2 hrs to give me the pill & were so rude. I will definitely be changing locations even though it’s a little further but I love how they treated me here.

Everyone is very nice! I haven’t come back until now bc of a waiting room problem - where I came late and they suggested I reschedule instead of waiting. Other than that, my primary and everyone there is very friendly and are very to the point. Very knowledgeable and kind primary doctor as well that helped me with my injury.

Came in on time for an appointment at 9:45. It is now 12:45 and have just been informed that there are still 5 people ahead of me. I was told originally that I would be here for 2 hours so I am now scrambling to adjust my whole day and cancel other appointments. This type of thing affects not only my day but my wifes day as well. Our time is valuable and precious and it has just been wasted indiscriminately and carelessly by the unprofessionalism here at Planned Parenthood.Quick update: its now 2:00 and Im still in the waiting room. 4 hours and 15 minutes after my appointment time.

I came here to get my annual womens health visit. The clinic has off street parking on the first level, and the waiting room is bright and quiet. The clinician who saw me was a sweetheart. She made me feel comfortable and well taken care of.

I had a great experience here. The staff was super friendly and understanding and super compassionate. Make an appointment before you go so you don’t have to wait for walk-in. Their covid measures are great and they’re pretty good about communicating. I would highly recommend this location.

I went to gynecologist. They left me half necked from the bottom on the examination chair for 20 min in a cold room, and only remembered about me when I went out the room and reminded them that I was still there. Besides that they didnt want to claim exact cost of my pills, until I demanded that. And they charged me $303 for such a nice and attentive service. It is up to you to visit this facility or not, but believe me, you can find more professional and caring doctors somewhere else.

Brought my fiancé to get an ultrasound, and apparently their policy doesn’t allow fathers in the back to see their child when they do the ultrasound. We both requested I could go with her, but they told us it’s policy. I don’t care how cheap or free this clinic is, it’s simply unacceptable to not let me see my own child.Already scheduling an appointment with a new clinic. Don’t go, waste of time.

My wife was told after the treatment that she has to pay in cash and she has no other option. They compel her to sign a cash agreement explaining that Planned Parenthood allegedly doesnt submit claims to insurance. Even though they are in network and patient may submit the claim by her own. My insurance was extremely surprised. We wasted a lot of time going back, filling and signing papers, submitting a claim. So Im still struggling with the insurance in order to get reimbursement. Be aware.

The most friendly and professional staff you could ask for. I could not have been more impressed with my doctors kindness, intelligence, and how comfortable she made me. Recommend with the highest regards.

Got my IUD replaced on Friday. The staff were really professional from the receptionist to the nurse to Dr. Trisha. Had no problems after the replacement Im really satisfied with the great and prompt service.

This is for PP as an organization. This is the 2nd time they have booked an appointment and procedures that cannot be completed at this office. Took the morning off work and have to take yet another morning, for the second time. Their staff is seeming to become less and less compassionate; both locations I have gone to in OC have been unexceptional due to the attitude Ive received from their staff members. Not sure what is happening here, because you guys used to be GREAT. It is quite disconcerting and a bit ridiculous.

Probably the slowest planned parenthood Ive ever been in. Just to get a physical, plan to be here over an hour and thats without being seen yet. Staff is alright. If planned parenthood was more funded like it should be things would be much better.

Planned Parenthood in OC and San Bernardino counties are heartless and don’t care about people. I was turned away due to being tested (negative) for Covid because “I could’ve possibly come into contact with someone in the last 14 days.” These people don’t care about you, they care about themselves and money.

Waited 3 hours for a video call from the doctor and I kept calling the front desk only to be told I missed the video call and to come back another day but I urgently needed help/to be seen that day. The girl was also really mean acting like she isnt paid to do her job...

Great service. Have been here many times for my IUD and have always had a wonderful experience. Mah and Michelle helped me out today and were too kind! Thanks guys!

The staff and doctor were kind, helpful and respectful. They provide very valuable resources. I would take any negative reviews with a grain of salt.

I like this facility more than the others because its usually not busy but the parking here is bad because all the parking spaces are super tight and have very few spots but other than that this is my favorite facility.

If you are male, dont come here. They have an extreme focus on women, and only women; I felt very uncomfortable my entire tine here. I waited all day and was not seen.

Staff is friendly. I recommend making an appt early in the morning. They get farther behind as the day goes on so early is best

Once you are seen the service is great.. With an appointment we waited 3 hours just to be seen.. Can we please get more funding for this program.

$60 for a pregnancy test and counseling if you have no insurance. $60 for the counseling if you already know youre pregnant. Theyre supposed to help people
