Mercy Health Urgent Care, Western Hills

This was hands down the best urgent care experience Ive ever had. The front desk was great and very helpful. Bridget got me signed in and helped me fill out my paperwork that I was confused about filling out. She was kind and patient. I believe it was Mary who was my nurse in the back and she was very kind and understanding and did a great job on my x-ray. My x-rays were read quickly and Jay came in to talk to me about my injury and instructed me what to do next. Everyone was super kind, helpful and friendly and professional. I was really impressed by this urgent care.

I prefer to utilize this urgent care because of the professionalism of the staff up front and the Drs (providers) in the back. I trust the Mercy hospital group and their urgent care network is an equal and natural extension of their practice. The doctors always are compassionate. They spend enough time with you. And it really feels like while its an urgent care that of getting the same quality advice as if I were going to my own primary care physician. I used to utilize a different urgent care, but I wasnt and in fact, I know I wasnt getting the best care possible.

I booked an appointment online for the following day. It was quick and easy. I got to the clinic around my scheduled time and was greeted right away with a smile. Bridget was kind and efficient. She made sure I was checked in and asked if I had any questions. There really was no wait time. I was seen by Jennifer the nurse practitioner in no time. She was kind and made sure all concerns were addressed. Very nice care from the whole team.

I arrived after 1pm and was out within less than one hour. This is the fastest I have ever been seen at any urgent care which is why I refrain from them but given how I was feeling I couldnt wait to see my PCP. The lady at the front desk was very hospitable as was the doctors assistant and the doctor, Mr. Jay. My prescription was sent to the pharmacy eliminating that step for me. They are close to my residence and the hours of operation are reasonable. The facility is clean, airy with good lighting and has plentiful seating.

First time here, I brought my son here since he hasn’t been feeling well and honestly this is by far the best urgent care I’ve been to! The process was easy and smooth and we were in and out! They prescribed the meds he needed and now hopefully this will help him feel better! Thank you so much we will definitely be back and we got out of here faster then Children’s.

They are so nice here! They listen to you and don’t try to rush you. My new favorite urgent care on the west side! Also they are great with my medical alert service dog, Onyx :)

I would give zero stars if I could!!! These doctors dont care about helping you they are just concerned about covering their butt. I was sick with a fever but after checking my weight and my blood pressure they where rude and refused to help me at all. It so sad that you go to treat a simple fever and instead im face with the choice between my health or financial ruin because they wanted me to go to the hospital. I have since gone to another much better urgent care with competent and kind staff and they resolved all my issues with great care and compassion. I Do not recommend going to these evil monsters.

The visit itself was fine, but my issue was when I tried to call with follow up questions the next morning about the meds prescribed. I was placed on hold right away which was fine but even after patiently waiting my turn the receptionist couldn’t be bothered to give me time of day. She gave me the brush off and health professionals refused to talk to me like it wasn’t their problem. If they were busy a call back would have been fine but apparently even when their patient is paying 300$ for a 5 minute visit . They’re not worth that 🤷🏻‍♀️

Everyone was nice. The PA I saw was super sweet and caring. But I never heard of they can only address one concern… the front desk told me “ this is an urgent care we can only address one of your concerns “ I had two….

Very poor estimating waiting time. When a customer calls and asks you how long it would be before your are seen, and you tell me 30 min , you as facility should no add 50 minutes on top of that time. Be respectful to peoples schedules!

Do NOT go to this urgent care if you value yourself as a person. The doctor James Ward or “Jay” does not give a hoot about the patients. The entire experience felt extremely rushed. I told them upfront that what I was experiencing and how I knew where the infection had come from. This doctor decided to address a cold sore rather than the actual problem. So when the results came back (with the infection that I said I had!) and I had questions, “Jay” couldn’t even be bothered to come to the phone to answer them. And when I asked about treatment, I was immediately told that I would have to go to the public health department, before the call was ended. So here I am with a threatening illness, without a full understanding of what my test results mean, or how to get access to treatment because this Urgent Care, doesn’t care. Several panic attacks later, I’m finally able to write this review, but still unsure if I’m gonna die. But thanks so much “Jay” for talking to me about my cold sore.

I loved my experience at the urgent care. Da’Meka the medical Assistant was great, so was Bridget at the front desk upon arrival. The NP Jennifer was great, she definitely is in the right line of work! 10/10 experience.

I really like this relatively new Urgent Care on the west side! Very nice clean facility, friendly staff and great medical professionals. It was everything I was hoping for with an emergency clinic. I will use them regularly and highly recommend to others.

Friendly, courteous, thorough service. Jasleen was very personable, friendly, and engaging. The medical assistant was great. I forgot her name, but she was African American with glasses, and beautifully styled dreaded hair. I would go there again if needed.

I went to this facility because my primary doctor is a Mercy provider. Felt they would have access to my records. I visited my primary doctor on November 26th. Was diagnosed with Flu and sinus infection. Was prescribed Amoxicillin. Now several weeks later, my ears/jaw still hurting bad. So I went to this urgent center. Doctor prescribed Amoxicillin again. I didnt catch it till I read the paperwork outside. Informed my pharmacist & he verified it was the same drug. I thought this center would have access to my records. The doctor asked me what Im allergic to but being so sick, my mind was not right. I figured he could look at my records. I feel he could have checked my records a little more closely. I tried to explain that this was a second doctor visit. But all in all, the nurses were very pleasant as well as the doctor & everything got straightened out.

Surprisingly enough i had an amazing visit with Mercy urgent care. Every time I go to mercy i have the worst visits. I was in and out and had a great visit.

I had a great experience with this office! Every staff member was pleasant and helpful, and I got exactly what I needed to start feeling better quickly without issue. I would definitely recommend this location!

Front desk staff and clinical team were very compassionate. The doctor I was seen by was very rude and got upset because I was on the phone with my pharmacy trying to figure out what antibiotic I was currently taking at the time as to prevent reactions between different medication.He stalked out of the room and told me hell be back when Im not busy. 40 minutes go by and hes no where to be seen. I had to find him sitting down outside my door myself

Such wonderful service. The receptionist were kind and so pleasant and the doctor was also very kind. There was a wait, but they let me know when I arrived that there was a wait.

This was one of the worst visits I had with an urgent care. I came in with some pretty concerning issues and the doctor I had would not listen to my concerns at all. She pushed them off and tried to act like it was nothing. She was relating my problems to things that she went through and was very rude to me as well. This all resorted to me having a panic attack and a full on break down and when I asked to see someone else she said no (because I guess there was no one else seeing people) I then asked to leave and she just rudely said “well no one is keeping you here” and so I walked out and just left. I will not be coming back here ever again.

The entire staff was friendly helpful and knowledgeable! I highly recommend this urgent care! The Dr. is highly skilled, listens to your questions and concerns and sends you out on your way to feeling better!!!

Im autistic. The doctor here pushed me to have a meltdown. I was already coming in and sick. I didnt understand I had to pick on aliment. Ive been treated for multiple in the past. It felt like the infection in my finger was related to the infection in my teeth, because theyre both infections. They expected me to pick one. I told them I didnt feel good. I am unable to make choices when I dont feel good. Thats part of being autistic. The doctor raised his voice at me. I dont appreciate that. I asked him nicely to not raise his voice at me, and his tone changed. But his attitude did not. I do not expect to be treated any sort of way as someone with autism, but I do expect to be treated with care as someone who is a patient. Raising your voice is not how you interact with a patient who is failing to understand and communicate while sick.

Was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. The staff and doctor were all very warm and welcoming. The care I got was excellent.

Walked in, described what was hurting, we talked, they ran a test, gave me a treatment plan,  and follow up suggestion. I walked out in 45 minutes. I should have walked in a month ago. Today is the best I have felt in a month.

Super quick and beneficial visit. The caregivers were extremely kind and thorough in their examination. I go here for any non emergency issues I experience. Best minute clinic in Cincinnati. Would recommend.

The practitioner wrote me a prescription i needed and sent out to a pharmacy that couldnt fill it and she should have known. I called back to get the medicine sent to a different pharmacy but then they decided to write me a different prescription that just yesterday the practitioner decided I didnt really need just because it is too complicated to get me the one I do need.

Friendly excellent reception. Very clean everywhere.  I was seen by Jasleen who was efficient, empathetic, knowledgeable, highly efficient and thorough. I was complete  inside of an hour that included registration and more.  Highly recommended.

Everyone was wonderful especially Ms. Michelle. I was having a tough time with my toothache and she was truly there for me. Thanks for everyone there today I was in great pain and that gave me alot of comfort today!

Poor Service. Staff do not care, they are not compassionate. God help you if you find Tifanny at the front desk very unprofessional and rude, few months ago I took my daughter there she gave me a very hard time, i almost.......Yesterday I begged my sister to help me take my child there again because she was feeling sick, She told my sister Are you trying to bring a child that is not yours to an urgent care? Like is something wrong with that lady called Tifanny? Does she have to be mean and unprofessional? I had to rush down from work because my sister said I cant deal with the lady in the front desk. The doctor doesnt even care. I asked Bridget one of the nurses what is the name of the front desk person, she said ask her yourself lol. Everyone got an i dont care attitude 🤷 Well I hope they change and understand that they will be dealing with sick people.Neat place, they were quick too. Not a busy place. (Maybe people know that they are not good people idk)If you are reading this, you all need to do better. Nurses are CALLED to listen be loving, soft and compassionate. Or maybe we are treated like that because we are on the west side.... who know!!!

10/10 highly recommended! I was in an out so quickly and the dr. An staff were amazing!

I came in to get tested for strep and Covid. Everyone was incredibly polite from the woman that checked me in to the nurses that administered and told me the results of my tests. I highly recommend this urgent care!

Front desk staff were friendly. Wait time was less than 10 minutes. The NP who saw me addressed my needs. Happy with my visit

Staff is super nice and they do their best. Honestly they are the only reason I didnt rate lower.Just hate that the out of pocket is $200 just to get told you need to see a primary care physician or specialist.

I had the best NP, she explained to me what was going on and gave me helpful tips and information while other places would just tell me I’m fine when I know I’m not. Thank you for the care.

Visited today for the first time. Very pleased! The quality of care is excellent. Full service facility, and very clean. Did not have to wait to get back to see the provider. Spent a lot of time with me talking about my medical diagnosis and treatment. I will definitely be back in the future when needed.

The NP didnt spend 60 seconds with my son, just wrote for antibiotic and steroid with barely an exam. 3 months later, I get a bill for charges not allowed by insurance. Avoid, go to Tri-health up the street.

This was my first time at an urgent care and my experience was very good. I came in Saturday morning a few minutes after they opened and was the only one there. I was taken back after only waiting a couple minutes. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. NP named Karly was caring and knowledgeable. She examined and discussed my issue very thoroughly and wasn’t trying to rush which happens a lot at other medical facilities. She gave me different options and didn’t recommend any unnecessary tests/labs. Karly provided sound advice and made a referral to a specialist that I can go to if my problems continue, which is good for a whole year. Overall I would definitely recommend for non emergency issues when you can’t wait for your PCP and need to be seen right away.

Staff was friendly, wait wasn’t long at all, environment was clean, great bedside manner. I was in and out in 30 minutes.

I was seen quickly, listened to, was prescribed what I needed, picked up my meds at an open Walgreens close to the center. My insurance card was on file with Mercy, I couldnt find mine.

Minimum wait time. Exceptional staff. Positive experience despite the reason for my visit.

Really nice and clean facility. I loved how caring and prompt the whole staff was. I went In explained what was going on. The Ma took me back immediately! Doctor Sanders was great! He listened and took his time accessing my situation. I would definitely go back in the future if need be.

Their recording says open 8am-8pm.I went up there at 7:00pm on 9-29-24 and the door was locked and lights off. I called up there and spoke to somebody and she said she cannot answer to me why they were closed that she was going to pass the information on to the supervisor.

Front desk employee was just great and Dr Ross is very personable and helpful.

Everyone I encountered here was extremely helpful and nice. They answered all of my questions and didn’t have a long wait!

This clinic was AMAZING! This was Labor Day weekend also. My daughter had strep throat. She has just moved to Ohio and was not sure where to go. I selected this place for her bc even though their google rating was a 3.5 I saw that the management took care to respond to not so great reviews by having unhappy people call the office to resolve their issues. I thought a place that will do this is worth trying. She had went to a DIFFERENT clinic the day before and they refused to give her medication and told her it would be better in 3 -7 days. During the night she continued to get worse. She went to this clinic and the staff and Dr. Aaron Freeman, were amazing! The wait was a bit long, but WELL WORTH IT! Thank you so much!!

Absolutely the best urgent care experience I’ve ever had. Everyone from the receptionist (sorry I didn’t get her name!) to the to the medical assistant (Tiffany) to the nurse practitioner (Aaron) was attentive and caring. Everyone took their time attending to my needs and I felt like they really cared. I will definitely be back for future urgent care needs.

I recently visited Mercy Urgent Care for a sinus infection, and I must say, it was a complete disappointment. The staff seemed uninterested and unprofessional right from the start. The receptionist barely acknowledged my presence and seemed more interested in chatting with her colleagues than helping patients.Once I finally got called in, I was seen by a nurse who rushed through the examination without paying much attention to my symptoms. She didnt even bother to take a proper history or ask relevant questions about my condition. It felt like she just wanted to get me out of there as quickly as possible.When the doctor finally arrived, I expected a more thorough evaluation, but I was sorely disappointed. She barely spent a few minutes with me, barely looked at my sinuses, and immediately prescribed me a generic prescriptionwithout considering any alternative treatments or discussing potential side effects.I had to sit and wait in a uncomfortable waiting area, only to receive subpar care and a rushed diagnosis.I would not recommend Mercy Urgent Care for sinus infections or any other medical concerns. The lack of professionalism, the rushed and negligent approach to patient care, and the overall disinterest exhibited by the staff make this a place to avoid at all costs.

The lack of concern should have amazed me, however it did not. There was zero since of urgency. You have 3 people sitting around and only one person seeing patients. Not a good experience. Better off going to an actual doctor or REAL emergency room at a hospital for all of this nonsense.

Staff was very professional and welcoming. The Physician Assistant who saw me, knew I was in intense pain, she did not offer to prescribe me a non-narcotic pain medication or anti-inflammatory. Just told me to continue elevating my foot and provided me a plaster cast shoe which cause more pain and going home instructions w/ referral if my condition did not resolve or if it worsen.

I went to this location on a late Saturday afternoon and was grateful that they were open, as others were closed. I was treated with a great deal of kindness and respect. I love the fact that they had all my medical information since my primary care is also through Mercy. I cant more strongly recommend this location.

Doctor took two minutes didn’t even ask questions and said he pulled a muscle.

My roommate is getting over vomiting and diarrhea. I started having similar symptoms with no vomiting yet. I asked if it would be good to come in as their website lists vomiting but no diarrhea. I was advised to wait until I get better to call back. This makes no sense

My problem was resolved with a knowledgeable physician. Wait time a little long. Very busy.

Me and my son were sick so we came to urgent care in western hill (Mercyhealth). The front desk person named Ebony is very unprofessional and was very rude has no manners very disrespectful to me in front of my 13 year old son that was home from school today due to be ill this is the second time I have been in contact with this person twice and has waited on me and my child twice and everytime she waits on us She has a bad attitude rude as can be she should not be at the check in desk she was with another person today and she told the person to be quiet when she was speaking to me. Very unprofessional and should not be working in this line of work her bedside manner are awful and just down right rude and nasty mouth and attitude. Not good with people at all.

Went on a Saturday and was the only one there. Doctor seemed very annoyed by the entire 3 min interaction. Was dismissive when explaining symptoms. Gave me a wrong diagnosis and meds that made it worse.

Everyone was so polite and seemed like they cared about my issue.

The African American Medical Assistant (Older Lady, grey braids) there needs more training on bedside manner. I dont care how many times you call me Maam if youre being rude to me and not listening what I am trying to tell you during the initial consultation. The NP allowed me to explain fully what my issue was and we were able to come up with a game plan for treatment.

Excellent care... very professional medical staff. And the facilities are very neat and clean.
