I would like to say that I truly had a good experience. They accept walk-ins which is wonderful. They took out blood and the young man that did it was excellent, I barely felt a pinch. The girl in the front was very respectful and friendly. I was seen by Dr Bianca and she was a blessing. Very informative and caring. I will definitely return there and recommend others.

Dr. Vixama was so wonderful. This is the first doctor I’ve seen in a while that cared about my health history, asked relevant questions, and didn’t rush me out. She cared about my issue and took the proper steps to prescribe accordingly. I’ve already referred 2 people to her.Not a fancy place by any means, but front desk staff were very kind and I will definitely return.

Took my daughter in for a bad cough.The front desk staff and nurse (Danielle) were friendly and kind.The doctor was very knowledgeable and took her time with my daughter. The wait time was very reasonable.All in all, a wonderful experience!

Came in less than a half hour before closing as the doctor was packing up (the week before the holidays) and the staff very kindly processed me, got me seen, and got a prescription filled at the neighboring pharmacy (also right as THEY were about to close)! Dr. Bianca was friendly, attentive, and helpful in explaining my diagnosis and treatment plan. Thank you to everyone in the office who took care of me!

I am June Busacco, Who they lying on and had made a visit after sunset on Sabbath day, They make you sit no doctor ever came in the room. Place too sit chairs are dirty. I caught sick 2 times fever, and bad headaches from unsanitary conditions they dont clean. Staff that was on Saturday was all at desk speaking and I left informed them doctor never came in the room. I had leg pain, ear infection, and ankle pain from a previous broken ankle. And 2 days later the pain shot up to my back and caused me to fall and bust my head open . Not one doctor called too apologize for not coming in the room but make you sit a long time .the young lady did come in and take my pressure and look in my ears. That was all..they just make you sit and wait like a ginnie pig, place needs a good cleaning .try after a sick patient leaves. However, I got very sick previously sitting in the front office someone must of had flu and it hit right too me 2 times..they not all good as these reviews . They take down bad reviews. And post good reviews..they suck

This was one of the best doctors office experiences I’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot. I’ve lived in several different states with varying degrees of healthcare and this office was super helpful, prompt. The nurses were so kind, they made me feel heard & seen. I was almost in tears from how positive the experience was. 10/10 recommend and I will be sticking with them for my primary care needs!

It smells really really good in this office. The receptionist were knowledgeable. It’s a small location, but it’s very clean, inviting and welcoming. The doctor made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I was in and out of the office in less than 30 minutes.

Honestly I was skeptical when I saw the waiting room, but had a great experience. An assistant took me back and did a thorough questionnaire and took detailed notes, took my vitals, and I saw the doctor quickly who took the time to answer all my questions. So don’t be put off by the scruffy appearance, I definitely recommend. Thanks!

They suck! They seem to try to avoid any kind of service I just needed a waiver for work saying I refuse a vaccine… the doctor looked at me like I was insane for asking something like that, said she can’t do that without any medical records… even tho I’ve gotten plenty of letter from this exact location only difference this time I needed her practice number once I mentioned that the energy shifted maybe she’s a fake doctor

The provider was one of the best ive experienced. So warm and helpful, really listened to me and I felt heard and seen. After so many negative experiences with urgent care I was nervous to go but now that I know this place exists I will come back even if I move. So rare to find doctors who will give us time and attention anymore.

I came here to get a doctor’s note to get off of work while I’m sick with a cold. The doctor did not examine my sinuses or throat and literally wrote ‘sick’ on my note with none of my symptoms listed. I could’ve been sick with a GI, reproductive, or any other health issue, and my workplace wouldn’t have been able to decipher what kind of sick, which made the $100 visit seem like a moot point. The front desk person rewrote my note for me after my visit with what I wanted it to say symptoms-wise, the reason I needed off of work. The lack of professionalism is kinda marked here, especially considering the sign in their exam room that says something to the tune of ‘you matter.’ I really felt like I didn’t matter because I wasn’t being heard. I do not like going to the doctor for that reason in general. The people working there were ‘nice’ to me, but they didn’t accomplish my intended purpose without oversight and dictation, and I was already not feeling well at all. I have previously worked as a medical assistant, clinic front desk manager, and medical scribe for about 10 years, so I know what a doctor’s note is supposed to look like, whoops.

I’m incredibly pleased with the wonderful experience I had at Urban Wellness Physicians. My provider was N.P Bianca J, who was more than great. She was kind, caring, compassionate, thorough and listened to my concerns attentively. She explained everything in detail, a true consummate professional. There’s no doubt I’d return if and when necessary and hope Bianca J is there as I would love to have her as my provider again. Highly recommend.

It was my First Time at this Doctors Office and I have to Say it was the Best Experience I had going to the Doctor in a Very Long Time. Everybody I Dealt with from the Receptionist to the Nurses to the Medical Assistant was very attentive and Patient and very Down to Earth. Very Respectful and Professional. I had a wonderful time at this urgent care. I did not have a long wait and both stafts and doctor were professional in their duties. That was my second visit there.

Spent 90 minutes in the waiting room, long enough for someone to come in, be seen, and leave before I was called back. Then I waited in an exam room for 90 minutes after being seen by a nurse, during which someone walked in twice only to appear shocked to see me or mistaken and moved to another room to take care of the other patients. All I needed was an antibiotic prescription for something Ive been diagnosed within five minutes over the phone before. Never felt less respected or seen. I get youre busy, but apparently not so busy that you cant take care of other patients.

Very long wait time, I arrived more than two hours ago and the nurse saw me quickly but the wait for the doctor was unreasonably long. The doctor was helpful and nice though.

This is my favorite healthcare place! The service is always on top and the personal super friendly, which is very important for me! Today I did my annual check up, and it went easy and even fun. Glad that I found this place🙏🏼

This is my 2nd review for this facility- the original review I gave 5 stars because they were great for routine visits & helpful with making sure I didn’t go without my regular asthma meds.For the last few months I have been in severe pain & it seems like this place is excellent at writing prescriptions but not well at actually diagnosing a problem or finding a solution that goes beyond medicating it. They also only have an actual doctor on the premises 1x a week which is very shocking & unacceptable. Patients deserve EXPERT care not a doctor in training guessing what their treatment plan should be.The nurse practitioner I spoke to for 20 minutes 2 days ago had no recollection of our conversation, my symptoms or the prescriptions she neglected to send to the pharmacy on my behalf & instead suggested I REVISIT the facility while in nearly unbearable pain so she could look at me again. She’s already made it clear that even after X-rays she can’t correctly diagnose my condition but putting me thru the trauma of revisiting the facility, the financial burden of paying yet another copay & swiping my insurance for another payment will make a difference.If you need a doctors note to be out of work for a few days, definitely go there. But if you actually want someone to care about what is wrong with you stay far away.

And no patients inside.and a meeting at the front desk..and watch me leave not say let me see whats taking doctor long, the pharmacy gonna close. Changing my review from 5 stars to 1 star. Called at 12/23 asking to come in they said sure open before 7pm. I come at 615pm, front desk girl says oh but we cant take any blood. So why are you open? Front desk boy says its ok I can come in 12/24 at 5pm. Made the appt. Came in at 5pm 12/24 and they the girl (diff staff) says their closed. I showed them my appt confirmation and the boy at the desk says if you check out website the hours... like *I* should have known. BS. They ask the doctor and she refused to see me. So they call the owner on vacation for him to apologize and made excuses that its xmas eve and the doctor had to drive a long way like I didnt have to come a long way TWICE, like its not xmas eve for me too. Their staff is either stupid or malicious and my friend and I whose also a patient wont be coming back.--------------My friend Sara recommended this place and I just gotta say, wow. AWESOME clinic. Dr. P was SO charming and sincere and sweet, and really took her time to listen and not rush like most doctors. also of course shout out to nurse Kiana for her professionalism, the quickness, and wonderful attitude get that girl a raise. Definitely check em out! ♥️👊

The staff is very professional, and I felt well taken care of. The facility is clean and well-organized.

My first visit was very frustrating and disappointing. I came for an annual check up for blood work. I explained to the nurses I have small and difficult veins to find. I was poked several times for blood and they were not able to collect enough blood to complete the entire physical. They instructed me to find to a vein specialist, which Ive never been suggested to do before. I never experience this type of service before and I have been going to doctor all my life. This urgent care medical facility needs to hire real nurses to get the job done correctly, properly and professionally.

Always a pleasure to visit for any health concerns or for a routine check up. Staff are really nice and they keep the office and patients room clean and with new supplies.

The place was empty because I went late on a Sunday. No wait and the front desk staff was really nice. The front desk young lady took my vitals and other information before the doctor came in. No biggie. The doctor, Dr. Timothy was ok but not really personable, no biggie. I was not able to get my medicine so that’s why the three stars. So, I have pink eye and no meds smh. Not a bad experience tho. I thought I posted this last year in 2024 around the month of February smh 🤦🏽‍♀️. I went back and took my daughter because another urgent care down the block (no names) wasn’t in her medical network. Again, no one in there so I filled in the info and my daughter and I went back. My daughter LOVED Dr. Bianca and just made her smile. She was pleasant and explained everything. My medicine was ready as promised the next day because it was late. I will definitely go back!!! I changed my three stars to 5!

The lady doctor is very patient and gives a lot of information. Front desk is polite as well…Definitely will return when need to see a doctor again . I give them five stars.

Violation of privacy as if you leave a bad review they will look up your patient charts to get your number. Some of the staff are great but waiting times sometimes take forever. If you have a scheduled appointment you should be seen then especially if you’ve checked in early. Changed my name so I can stay confidential

I was taken in fast 💨 I had like maybe a 15/20min wait but got in real quick the doctor has heard me tell her what I’m going threw and left there with good feeling that everything will be alright but I had to change my primary doctor in order to see her but okay.✅ yes I would go back there again because it was easier and closer to get there but then again I do tend to move.

The doctor didn’t take me seriously, and i felt like he was trying to speed through my session so he could clock out. i explained i had serious body aches and he asked if i had tried tylenol…. why would i come all the way to urgent care if an over the counter pill could help me?? won’t be going back.

This is one of the worst facilities Ive been to. Dr. Short has an awful bed side manner and made multiple misdiagnoses in addition to not running a full suite of tests on me that more than one other provider told me I shouldve received for my condition. I would run, not walk, from this place.

I cannot recommend Urban Wellness Physicians. From scheduling appointments to addressing concerns, their service is truly exceptional. They handled my daughters blood draw with kindness and professionalism, making the experience as comfortable as possible. Absolutely phenomenal care all around.

I didnt know what to expect with the terrible insurance that I have but this has got to be the worst medical facility that I have ever been in. There was paper work to be filled out prior to my first visit which I had expected so I arrived early.The staff was very pleasant and that is why this place gets one star. The wait was 40 minutes to be seen. I was there for a annual check up and to have blood work done. The desk attendant was the same person to take my vitals and draw blood, which I will get to in a second.The physician came in and didnt check anything. She stated the same information that I gave to the attendant and did not monitor my heart, breathing, reflexes, abdomen or check my ears and throat or any of the things that a doctor should be checking, especially at my age of 42.I am diabetic so I did let them know that I would need blood work done to check my A1C. Well, the attendant couldnt find a vein- even though I directed her to use the same arm and vein I have been using for over 20 years. On top of that she was clean but messy and you could tell that she hasnt been doing this long, so I am not holding this against her. However, the physician came in to draw blood and couldnt find a vein either and when she stuck me with the needle for the 4th time, it worked- from my hand! That is so painful. They tried to blame it on lack of hydration, but I drink 3 or more liters of water a day and I was not dehydrated. Then they said it could be high blood sugar, but when my blood results came back my blood sugar was within desired range.They also did not put in all of my prescriptions that was needed, so I have to call back to do this. How inconvenient???To make matters worse, they called me to give my test results for blood work and my cholesterol- which is usually high-came back low, so because of my experience I am not sure that I trust the results. Not to mention, another physician called me, not the one that I saw during this appointment.I could also hear everything being said from the room next door, so there is not privacy. You need to fix this!

This was my first time going there but as they say about first impressions. This was one of the best first impressions Ive had in just about any medical facility Ive ever been to. The staff is super friendly and sweet and go above and beyond to assist all their patients. Not a patient and need help finding a primary? Not a problem. What usually ends in an annoying back and forth over the phone, was swiftly taken care of in about 5 minutes along with a same day appointment that was conducted less than 10 minutes later. I dont know how the rest of my experience will be, but if its anything like this, I hope to continue to be a patient with them for a while to come.

My first time visiting urban wellness physicians and The whole staff was amazing. From when I called and Silvia the medical assistant was truly helpful over the phone, when I walked in I felt welcomed and the other medical assistant Odalys was extremely helpful, I went in for my annual physical and odalys made sure I felt welcomed and comfortable I didn’t even feel the needle go in and to me that’s a big deal just to mention she’s really good at drawing blood. The doctor Melissa was really good and helpful, will definitely recommend and will be back.

Excellent staff, they are very polite and professional. The facility was clean and tidy, and I would recommend them to all of my friends.

So today I called AG urgent care thats up the block from this location, I asked them if they had a certain vaccination in stock that my son needed. The receptionist said yes. I then asked her if I could walk in with my son today and get it, she said yes. I arrived at that particular urgent care and after waiting for an hour n a half, I was told that I had to come back on Wednesday because the pediatrician that administer the vaccine was not in. I was livid as I had just called and asked before arriving if I could BRING my SON, a clear indication that hes a child, and I also said it was for school vaccinations. A clear waste of my time. As I was leaving I happened to pass Urban Wellness Center and decided to try my luck. Imagine my surprise as I was called straight to the back. I didnt even waste a fraction of the time I spent at the other urgent care thats one block up from here. The nurses and the doctor was extremely nice. The Dr made my son feel comfortable about getting his needle and everything went smoothly. Complete night and day from the dreadful location we had just left. They now have a forever patient for all my urgent care needs.

I have now had two visits to Urban Wellness. Both times I have been blown away by the kindness of staff. From check in, to checking vitals, to bloodwork, to consultations with Doctors, everyone shows patience and care. The staff truly will listen to you and make sure you receive the care you need.I would recommend this office to anyone near seeking urgent care, primary care, physicals, etc.

Shaniece, Odalis, and Bianca are the dream team. Always so kind, respectful, and professional. Getting blood drawn/getting injections is usually a little nerve racking, but not here! They also give you information about what may be best for you or give you a referral if needed. Proceeding to the actual physicians, they are amazing, very friendly and diligent workers. Feeling bamboozled. Trusted this office to solve an immediate emergency issue for me it’s been about 2 weeks to no solution and the staff who pick up the phone are very unaware and ditzy. If everytime I speak I have to repeat the same thing over and over who is actually taking notes in the charts of the facts. I’m unaware of who is really the supervisor because over the phone I’ve spoken with 2 different people one male one female who claims to be the supervisor and chief exec , none of which have been able to solve this issue. It is important since I am too far along in pregnancy to find a new gyn easily.these ppl are pcp’s the job isn’t rocket science and I’ve made it simple. It’s frustrating dealing w inconsistency and people who have no idea of the facts

I went in very sick with a fever. The doctor (a man) barely looked at me before saying, “you could have a brain bleed” - because I had a terrible headache. I repeatedly asserted that it felt exactly like I did when I had COVID in the past, and described experiencing COVID symptoms as well. He kept harping on the brain bleed and attempted to send me to an ER without even checking me. Deeply lacking in empathy. The nurses did a very incompetent job at taking samples for a flu and covid test - and they NEVER got back to me with the results, not via email and not via call. I tested positive for COVID at home three days later. Such poor bedside manner from the medical professionals who seemed to only care about the money they were making by quickly getting patients in and out, without providing any decent medical care. So deeply disappointing.

The facility is very clean and everyone in the clinic is friendly.The front desk and Akery were very helpful. I appreciated that Akery ensured minimal waiting time and my appointment went through thoroughly. Mellissa, NP is very attentive and understands my needs. Thank you for your excellent care.

Everyone here is extremely nice, from the front desk to the examination room. They explained everything that they were doing beforehand and made me feel very welcomed and safe, and let me know that during my wait I could reach out and ask for anything, and they even gave me water while I waited. I 100% recommend this practice and will definitely re-visit if I need to.

Absolutely excellent experience. First off, I have never been there before and as I walked in the team rushed and open the door for me…. They then rushed to get me in and correct an insurance error and handled it immediately. The nurse Shaquia and the Doctor Laura were thorough and patient while being efficient. The front desk team, Victoria and Tameeka (door open fee) were charming and welcoming. Like most New Yorkers I don’t have an official primary care doctor. I do now…Thank you Urban Wellness Physicians.

The folks here are AMAZING! I don’t have insurance and I’d been battling a worsening cough for four weeks. I went in without an appointment on a Sunday morning, they saw me right away, gave me a checkup, and prescribed me antibiotic that they sent to the pharmacy immediately. It was ready for pickup within the hour. Affordable out-of-pocket cost for the examination, especially with using the GoodRX app for the medication at the pharmacy afterward. Everyone was so kind and knowledgeable and helpful, I truly felt cared for here! In and out in like 45 minutes. Definitely will be going back for all my future doctor’s visits needs.

By far the best urgent care I have been to. Shakia and Dr Laura were absolutely amazing they throughly tested me and gave me information about my symptoms. Reassured me and made me feel comfortable. The whole staff is nice efficient and knowledgeable they are the best!

This was an excellent urgent care and I highly recommend them to anyone who takes their healthcare seriously. I am not from the area and am new to managing my own healthcare/health insurance/doctors appointments. This place was welcoming, answered all my questions, was expedient and clean! The doctors assistant, Shakia (sorry if I misspelled!) and the doctor, Laura Murray, were friendly, ensured I was comfortable and answered all my questions. Dr. Laura wasnt rushed and was very transparent with her professional advice. Please go here, you wont regret it.

Everyone here is so friendly. Never had any trouble checking in and getting seen by a doctor. The staff is very calm and funny which is appreciated because it takes some of the stress away by being lighthearted. Would recommend!

It’s always hard to go someplace when you’re feeling sick or injured or just need to get something checked out. I’ve been here a few times for testing and have some particular needs when it comes to various exams. My anxieties were heard, my conditions understood, and I felt safe and comfortable. Even after fainting last year post test 🙃 I would travel to come here for help if I needed to. The kindness is unmatched.

The Doctor is easy to understand very well spoken makes you feel very comfortable. My visit was great left with more knowledge than I came with.

I really love the fact that I was able to walk in and get my services that I needed it it was fast easy and very very convenient! Medical assistance at the front desk was very attentive do my needs and the things that I needed help with so I can go back to work. So I decided to make that my PCP!!

This clinic is the worst. The doctor was gonna send me home sick without a prescription. I went to urgent care and got the proper treatment and I feel better. I will not return to this clinic.
